What a week! 😴

Summers babies became ill a few days after I took these photos and I was too occupied and sad to post them at the time. I had to remove Summer from the babies as we worked out it was her milk making them sick. Since then they have improved but have some weight to catch up on. It’s good to see them playful and happy again.

Truffles babies, Lolly & Rocky brought all the joy to yoga classes last Sunday. It was a great opportunity to observe the litter and each kittens different temperaments in a new environment. In typical Rocky fashion, he strutted out the crate and owned the place 🤣 Lolly was alittle unsure at first but loved the butt pats 😂 Success! We will be back again

Penny came home with enough CC’s for her championship title.

Very happy with the comments and feedback from the judges. Whisky is a special boy because he is Lolly’s great great grandson, combining 2 lines I have been working with along with influences and support from cats belonging to other breeders. With their generosity, friendship and guidance, I am forever grateful to all who have helped and continue to help me along this incredible journey.

A friend in the dog world said, Success is a journey, not a destination, and now I can say, after years being involved in the dog and cat scenes, that I truely understand these words.

Thankyou to the club and all the organisers for a well run show and these incredible rosettes

We’ve had a full on week this past week. We started show prepping on Tuesday, and I was still not satisfied with how their coats turned out ☹️ but proud of how they handled themselves on show day.

Loki has moved out for a while, living with another breeder friend of mine to sire some more babies before he retires.

Truffle and her kittens moved to a new pen. They love the extra space and can observe the rest of the cats and the fish tank.

Summers kittens upgraded to a larger pen now they’re about older and more mobile. Summer doesn’t want much to do with them now, which is troublesome, so they’re needing much more of my time to monitor weight and feeding, and of course cleaning. They’ve had their first bath and blowdry too.

Elsa started having some concerning discharge which I suspected to be the start of pyometra but after vet examination, appears to be vaginitis. Hopefully we can get this resolved.

I’m currently sick myself 🤧 so playing catch up and apologise for the delay in kitten photo updates. I will get on to these this week.
