All aboard......... 🚆🐶
Let’s face it, not everyone can drive their pups everywhere. Cities like London, Paris, and Melbourne already let our furry best friends hop on the rails, NSW public transport has historically had a bit of a "no dogs allowed" rule (unless they're official assistance animals, of course).
A new NSW Parliament e-petition is calling for a two-year trial of a clearly marked pet-friendly carriage on every train and Metro service. The best part? It keeps everyone happy: dedicated pet-free carriages remain untouched for those who prefer a fur-free commute, while the rest of us can finally take our four-legged co-pilots on adventures without having to load up the car every single time.
If you reckon our pups deserve a ticket to ride (on their best behavior, paws on the floor, and firmly on a leash, naturally!), you can check out the details and add your name to the petition here: https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/parliamentary-business/petitions/sign-epetition?epetitionId=847 🐾
