We’re so excited to welcome this little guy to the HSP family and can’t wait to watch him grow. Hopefully, we’ll be cheering him on in the winner’s circle in the years to come! 🏆💙

Even in a short timeframe, Stan has benefited from consistent water treadmill sessions and red light therapy, helping support his muscle development, condition and overall wellbeing.

At HSP Advanced Equine, we are proud to be part of the Horse Shepherd mission to help horses who have been abandoned, neglected or left without the care they deserve.
Together, we work towards a shared goal of providing these horses with safety, care, rehabilitation and the chance at a brighter future.
Whether it’s taking in abandoned horses, supporting their recovery or helping them along the next stage of their journey, we are all working towards the same mission.
We are more than just two names — we are one team, working together for the horses who need us most. 💙

Yesterday we collected three malnourished horses who have reportedly been left on a property for the past 12 months.

Meet Mary, a 6-year-old Thoroughbred mare, Tricks, a 15-year-old Standardbred, and little Munch, the pony of the group.

We don't know the full story behind their circumstances, we have seen previous posts made in 2025 but we have made no assumptions. What we do know is that all three urgently need help.

Thankfully, some kind people have been doing what they could to support them. Without those people looking out for them, we can only imagine how much worse things might have been.

They are now safely at HSES, where the work of rebuilding their health and condition begins. It won't happen overnight. There will be veterinary assessments, careful feeding, farrier and dental care, and plenty of time and patience.

And this is where we really need your help.

Donations are down, demand for help is up, and the cost of caring for horses continues to rise. Every new arrival adds to an already significant financial commitment, and we simply cannot continue taking in horses like Mary, Tricks and Munch without your support.

If you can spare $10, $25 or make a regular donation, please consider helping us. Every contribution helps us care for the horses already here and gives us the capacity to help the next horse in need.

For these three, at least the uncertainty is over. They have somewhere safe to recover, people watching over them and a future worth working towards.

Welcome to HSES, Mary, Tricks and Munch. HSP Advanced Equine

WHAT A RESULT FOR ROCKIN GEMMA! 🌟
We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Rockin Gemma has taken home the $100,000 feature race at Port Pirie tonight! 🥇🎉
Her owners were kind enough to share the exciting news with us and thank our team for helping prepare Gemma for this prep through her water treadmill sessions.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see the hard work pay off and to know that our facilities and conditioning work have played a part in her journey to the finish line. 💙
Congratulations to Rockin Gemma’s owners, trainers and everyone involved in her success. What an incredible achievement!
At HSP Advanced Equine, we’re proud to play a part in helping horses feel and perform at their best.

A great win today for Whistler Girl, trained by Aaron Peterson, at Coleraine. Whistler girl spent some time with us on the water treadmill and it’s great to see her out winning! Congratulations to all involved!

Muffin has been making fantastic progress, and we’re so happy with how he’s coming along.
He’s now being ridden under saddle, with Brianna doing a wonderful job riding him, and so far he’s been behaving perfectly. He’s taken everything in his stride and is feeling happy, relaxed, and confident in his work.
After his ride this afternoon, Muffin was treated to a well-deserved bath and is now looking very smart in his brand new rug. Safe to say he’s feeling pretty pleased with himself!
