🏇 Home Track Action at Goondiwindi Tomorrow! 🏇
It's always exciting racing on our home track, and Barry Sheppard Racing will saddle up four runners at the Goondiwindi Turf Club tomorrow.

⭐ Race 1 sees a friendly stable battle as Giddy Up Gundy Syndicate favourite Pressure Switch takes on stablemate Blueys Choice in the QTIS Maiden over 1200m. We can't wait to see these two go head-to-head!

🔥 Race 3 – Astin Lane returns looking to make it back-to-back victories after an impressive last-start win.

💙 Race 5 – Elusive Eagle steps out in the Boggabilla Cup, hoping to finish the day on a winning note.

Best of luck to Barry, the jockeys, stable staff and all the owners. Here's hoping our home crowd has plenty to cheer about! 🍀🐎

Go Team Sheppard! 💙🏇

🏇 What a fantastic day of racing on our home track at Goondiwindi! 🏇

A huge congratulations to Astin Lane on a brilliant win in the Goondiwindi Rural Suppliers Benchmark 58 Handicap! 🥇 There's nothing quite like winning in front of a home crowd, and we're incredibly proud of the horse and everyone involved.

A big shout-out also to Elusive Eagle, who put in another honest performance to finish 4th. He gave it his all and continues to race consistently.

Thank you to our owners, stable staff, jockeys, supporters and everyone who cheered us on trackside. Days like these make all the hard work worthwhile.

Now we reset, freshen them up, and we're already looking forward to doing it all again at the next Goondiwindi race meeting in two weeks' time. We hope to see plenty of familiar faces there cheering the team on! 💙🐎

This week we say goodbye to a very special member of the Barry Sheppard stable — our tough old warrior, Fitzroy Boy. 🐎💚

Since joining our ownership group in October 2020, this boy has given us so many memories, laughs, road trips, celebrations and stories we’ll never forget.

Fitzroy Boy wasn’t just a racehorse… he was a fighter. After surviving a horrific stable attack early in his career, he showed incredible courage and resilience to continue racing and doing what he loved most. His toughness and heart is something we will always admire.

Over his career he gave connections: 🏆 8 wins 🥈 10 seconds 🥉 5 thirds 💰 Nearly $100,000 in prizemoney
But to us, the stats only tell a small part of the story.
Thank you Fitzroy Boy for every gallop, every nervous watch, every cheering finish line moment and for bringing so many people together through racing.

A huge thank you as well to Barry Sheppard and everyone involved in caring for him over the years.

Enjoy retirement, Roy — you’ve more than earned it. 💚🐴

🐎✨ NEW HORSE ALERT ✨🐎
The Giddy Up Gundy Syndicate is excited to officially welcome Pressure Switch to the team.

This handsome 3YO chestnut gelding by Headwater, out of a Raischek, is the newest addition to our stable and we can’t wait to follow his journey 🏇

A huge welcome to all owners involved in this exciting new chapter. Here’s to early mornings, race days, great friendships and hopefully plenty of winner’s photos along the way 🍻📸

Welcome to the family, Pressure Switch ❤️🖤
