The Cat Nanna is almost a baby boy Nanna. We celebrated my daughter and son in-law’s baby shower this weekend and it was simply gorgeous 🩵 the perfect start to Mother’s Day weekend.

Part 1 of my journey with Simba 🐾
This beautiful boy spent a lot of time hiding at first. His family had requested that I didn’t give him treats so I wasn’t able to entice him with treats which can often build trust quickly. But with patience, calm energy, and gentle interaction, I slowly earned his trust.

For privacy reasons, there’s a lot I can’t share here, but I kept his family updated with photos and videos so they could see his progress.

A bit of enrichment time with Charlie 🧡
He’s 13 and isn’t too interested in playing but he was quite intrigued with the shadow from my ribbon toy. Little interactions like this help keep Charlie mentally stimulated while his humans are away.
