Want a dog who LOVES their grooming appointments? Start with these 3 things.
1. Socialisation
Expose your dog to different people, environments, sounds and experiences from an early age. The more experiences they have, the more confident they will become.
2. Handling
Get them comfortable with having their ears, paws, face and body handled. Practising standing still while you do all those things.
3. Early exposure to professional grooming
Don’t wait until they need their first big haircut! Introducing your puppy to grooming while they’re young allows them to become familiar with the salon, sounds, smells, equipment and handling.
