Sitter needs their own space to sleep within your home without encroaching on the owner's private sanctuary. We come to your home which maintains the pets routines which are already in place.
2. Pet needs a collar and an XPATPETZ tag (supplied by sitters) with our phone number to be easily contactable if something untoward happens.
3. Owners to advise their vet that they are going away and ha
ve pet sitters looking after their pets.
4. Perhaps a nice note from yourselves in the letterbox of closest neighbors to advise them that you will be away and have pet sitters staying.
5. Owner to write a short list of details of the pet eg, Are they dog friendly. Are they escape artists. Where do they sleep etc.
6. Any tricky things sitter needs to know about your home eg, alarms, wi-fi code, rubbish removal, remotes for tv and other appliances etc.
7. If any travel is required in sitter's car, does the pet travel well eg, anxiety, travel sickness cat carrier etc.
8. Is there any food the pet is allergic to, or should not eat.
9. Are the garden gates, fences, doors, windows etc, in good condition and working properly to keep your pet safe?
10. Most importantly, do you have lots of yummy treats so we can spoil your pet. We would love to bring some along too. NB, From our pet sitting experience worldwide and within Australia, we have encountered some of these issues which could have been avoided and dealt with, without undue stress to us, yourselves and your pet. Thus there will be a $10 increase to $70 per day, for 2022 -2023
This will cover the extra pet insurance we are paying to ensure the safety of all parties.
