✈️ Today was a big day for one of our Oaklands babies.

Her final day with us looked a little something like this… 🛁💨🥰🚗✈️

A bath, blow-dry, plenty of cuddles with the kids, a car ride and then off to the airport to catch her flight to Melbourne.

These are the parts of raising puppies that you don't always see.

We don't just prepare our puppies for the day they leave us we're preparing them for the world they're about to enter.

New people. New experiences. Car rides. Grooming. Handling. Noise. Cuddles. Confidence.

And then comes the hardest part… saying goodbye. 🥹

Today she left as a happy, confident little girl ready to start her next chapter with her family in Melbourne.

Fly safely beautiful girl. 💜

We can't wait to see the wonderful life you have ahead of you. 🐾

Your puppy isn't just playing. 🐾

Behind the scenes, so much of what looks like ordinary puppy play is actually helping build skills they'll carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Different surfaces.
New sounds.
Exploring their environment.
Being handled.
Learning to play appropriately.
And importantly, learning how to settle.

As a veterinary nurse and puppy school trainer, I know how important those early experiences can be.

That's why our puppy raising program is about so much more than keeping puppies happy until they're ready to go home.

We're preparing them for the big, sometimes overwhelming world they're about to enter. 🤍

This beautiful little Groodle boy is looking for his forever family.

He had a wonderful home all lined up, but sadly, due to some profound medical circumstances within the family, the timing just isn’t right for them to welcome a puppy into their lives.

As heartbreaking as it is to change plans, we know that sometimes the right puppy and the right family just need to find each other.

And just look at this little face… 🥹🤎

He is such a gorgeous, cuddly little guy and we would absolutely love to find him a family who will adore him, spoil him and give him the wonderful life he deserves.

I have to admit... chocolate Groodles will always have a special place in my heart. 🤎

Is there anything sweeter than a rich chocolate Groodle puppy with those irresistible teddy bear curls and that adorable chocolate nose?

This gorgeous little boy from our Gemstone Litter is still searching for his forever family, and it's impossible not to fall in love with him.

Could you be our next guardian home? 🐾💜

We are currently looking for the perfect guardian family on the Gold Coast for our beautiful Amber, our mini Groodle girl. Amber will be ready to join her forever guardian home at the end of this month, and we are searching for a family who will love her as much as we do.

Our guardian homes are such an important part of Oaklands Oodles. They allow our breeding dogs to grow up as cherished family members, experiencing everything a normal family dog should daily adventures, couch cuddles, walks, outings, training, and a lifetime of love.

Being a guardian means Amber gets to live her best life as part of your family, while we remain involved in her health, wellbeing and breeding journey. Our guardians receive the joy of raising an incredible puppy without the initial purchase price, and in return provide the love, care, training and commitment she deserves.

We are looking for a family who:

🐾 Has a genuine love for dogs and understands the commitment involved

🐾 Can provide Amber with a safe, loving home environment

🐾 Will enjoy being part of the Oaklands Oodles family

🐾 Is happy to stay connected with us and share updates as Amber grows

Today we had the privilege of watching the beautiful interaction between this gorgeous dingo pup and one of his littermates, thanks to our wonderful friends at Paradise Country - Gold Coast . What an incredible experience it was to witness. ❤️

Watching them play together was a beautiful reminder that, despite thousands of years of domestication, so many of a puppy's natural behaviours remain the same.

Dingoes are highly intelligent, incredibly social animals that rely on their family group to learn important life skills. Through play, they develop communication, confidence, coordination, problem solving skills and appropriate social boundaries. Sound familiar? We see these exact same behaviours developing in our own litters every single day.

When our puppies wrestle, chase each other, swap roles during play and learn when enough is enough, they're doing so much more than just having fun. They're learning bite inhibition, reading body language, building confidence and developing the social skills they'll carry with them into adulthood.

It's a lovely reminder of why we place such importance on allowing puppies to grow and learn alongside their mum and littermates during these early weeks. Nature has created an incredible blueprint for raising well balanced, confident dogs, and it's something we're passionate about supporting every step of the way.

It was a truly special experience that we'll never forget. 🐾💜
