We often get asked about the differences between the Stubben SteelTec bit range and other 'cheaper' brands.
The overall workmanship is made obvious when you hold both bits over your arm, the loops and lozenge have been manufactured a lot smaller to sit smoothly through the horse’s mouth and over the tongue.
As seen in the photo the SteelTec bit doesn’t stick up towards the horse’s pallet when the bit is curved over the tongue.
The SteelTec sweet copper bits are made with high quality nickel free copper alloy, that consists of 89% copper which is the highest percent in copper bits. High copper percentage activates the saliva production and encourages the horse’s responsive reaction to the rider’s direction.
(bit at the front is SteelTec, bit behind is another brand training link snaffle.)
