On Saturday, our OTT Representative Amanda, attended the Monmouth Pony & Riding Club Show Jump Day. The weather held out to be a stunning day, and it was well supported with OTT's.

The day was represented by many local PC members attending and it was really nice to see the friendly competitiveness yet support amongst everyone. From poles on the ground up to 1.05m, seeing multiple OTT's in nearly all classes was a great effort by all. Well done Monmouth and organising committee for a well run day and we look forward to attending the next one in August 🐴😀

🐴 Feed the Horse the Way Nature Intended

Horses are hindgut fermenters, meaning they rely on billions of beneficial microbes in their hindgut to digest fibre and produce energy. Their digestive system is designed for continuous grazing, not large, infrequent grain meals. Supporting this natural process is the key to long-term health, performance, and wellbeing.

Recently the Northern Adult Riding Club held their Annual Navigation Ride at "Harveydale" Birralee.

The event was supported whole-heartedly with a great list of Off the Track horses attending.

A few words form the NARC Committee:

"A total of 125 horses, including 17 Off the Track horses and their riders, loaded up and headed off for one of our favourite events of the year—The Annual Navigation Ride

The trail wound through beautiful Tasmanian countryside, across paddocks, along bush tracks and around corners that always seemed to reveal another clue, another challenge or another reason to smile. The clue hunting, quiz questions and surprises along the way kept both horses and riders entertained from start to finish, making for a fantastic day enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to Amanda Padman and Coutinho, winners of the Highest Placed Thoroughbred award, and to Carol Morley and Getwidamoney, winners of the Highest Placed Standardbred award.

We also presented the Off the Track Tasmania hamper as a special OTT prize, which was awarded to Gayleen Bassett and Maybe Bevlee"

Well done to all OTT participants - it is so great to see these wonderful horses participating in such versatile events.
