The owner wanted me to take my time which is amazing and I am so appreciative to her for allowing me to work my magic in my own time. Our services now cover everything from first contact to riding, liberty, brain training and clinics. Each offering has been carefully thought out and structured to develop true connection, balance, and understanding between horse and rider.

This is more than lessons. It’s a complete pathway grounded in French Classical Dressage and modern insight.

This is not your average riding school. We are in the business of creating lifelong experiences that will stay with you forever.

Term 2 will look a little different at ABRA. I will only be offering Saturday group lessons fortnightly. From 17 May 2026.

There will be price increases commencing from 1 July 2026. So stay tuned as these will roll out from Term 3 onwards.

I have cancelled the school holiday program for the foreseeable future. In its place will be a winter 2 day camp for my regular students. We will sleep out under the stars. Or in the arena if it’s bad weather. So excited for this next part of the journey.

Now that I am credentialed with the Foundation for the Equestrian Arts. My focus moving forward will be French Classical Dressage and sharing my knowledge in easier to access ways. I hope to be able to travel interstate to get exposure to more students so if you own a facility or would like to have me come out please message. I am also happy to do online consultations and lessons.

It’s on again this school holidays. We are having a 1 day program for children introducing them to horses, horse care, ground work and depending on numbers children may get to ride this time.

Something super special is happening at ABRA.

Not only is my instructor Mary Anne Campbell here all month credentialling me through the The Foundation for the Equestrian Arts as the first and only Australian French Classical instructor but the horses……Oh the horses are absolutely blowing me away. Thankyou to the foundation and Mary Anne for making my dreams come true.

This week my home taught bush pony Tui did his first ever piaffe to the rear and we got video footage ❤️❤️❤️❤️ my heart is overwhelmed with joy as this time 2 years ago I didn’t even think I could teach a horse to piaffe!!

Back by popular demand. We will be hosting our next drawing day on Saturday 21 February from 2-4pm. $40 per person- sketch book and pencils included. We may even do some cartooning this time. DEPOSITS NOW OPEN – MARCH 2026

In March 2026, Australian Baroque Riding Academy - ABRA will achieve final accreditation as a Centre for French Classical Equitation through the Foundation for Equestrian Arts.

To facilitate this, the The Foundation for the Equestrian Arts is sending Mary Anne Campbell, Founder and official representative of the Foundation, to Mount Gambier for a full month residency.

This is not a touring clinic.

This is an official Foundation visit.

The best news is- we have decided to open up this once in a lifetime opportunity to the public.

Throughout March we will be running:

• Private lessons every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• Weekend clinics in Mediterranean work in hand
• Classical pillar training
• Systematic development toward piaffe
• Wednesday evening historical seminars & Q&A
