Patients of the week this week are Abigail and Clementine! After we identified a nasty infection in Clementines crop, she’s been medically boarding with us this week with her bestie Abigail to receive her daily oral antibiotics.

If medicating your bird seems like an impossible task, chat with our team about the option of medical boarding. our experienced nurses are pros at medicating the trickiest of species. Your pets will get a lot of love and care and come home to you happy and healthy!

Today is World Frog day!!
So in honour here are some fun facts about them.

🔵they were the first land animals with vocal cords
🟢they are amphibians and are the only native ones in Australia
🔴there are over 240 species in Australia
🟣sadly Frog populations are declining at a rapid rate in Australia
🟠 they absorb water through their skin , meaning if any chemical or poisons are in the waterways they could become very sick.

Our founder and lead vet is in need of some time off... With a baby on the way, Dr Emma is going to be needing a few months break from her usual busy schedule. 👶🩷

We are looking for a superstar Vet to join us part time from late July/ August for a few months whilst Emma gets into the swing of life with a newborn.

To fit in with our amazing team, the successful candidate must have an excellent sense of humour, positive attitude, and commitment to not taking life too seriously! We provide thorough, gold - standard care with high attention to detail, and have a wonderful base of lovely clients.

New graduates are welcome to apply, however we are looking for someone with at least basic surgery skills and confidence doing some sole charge shifts when needed.

We see a wonderful mix of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats/mice, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, wildlife and zoo animals. While the ideal candidate would be someone willing to treat all species (even if it requires some training), we are open to hiring a smallies or exotics-only veterinarian if we think they would be a good fit. Opportunity of part time work may be available after the maternity leave cover should you not want to leave!

Our team is close-knit, we have a BYOP (bring-your-own-pet) to work policy, and we're a short stroll from the new Sydney Fish Markets - think rooftop cocktails with ocean views after work!
Parking is available on-site for vets, and the joining our work family comes with plenty of other perks.

If this role sounds appealing to you, please send your CV with a cover letter addressed to Kara at [email protected]
