🎃🐾 OCTOBER CAT ADOPTION SPECIAL – MEET LINC! 🧡

Throughout October, we're offering discounted cat adoptions, and we're introducing you to some of the lovely cats currently in our care!

🧡 Today, meet Linc!

Just look at those big ears, golden eyes and gorgeous ginger coat! 😍

Linc shares her enclosure with Sakari, Luca and a few other feline friends, and seems quite content hanging out with the gang.

We've even caught Sakari giving her a little grooming session! 🥰 It's lovely seeing the friendships that form between our shelter cats.

If you're looking to add a little ginger to your household, Linc might be worth meeting!

🎃🐾 OCTOBER CAT ADOPTION SPECIAL – MEET LUCA! 🖤

Throughout October, we're offering discounted cat adoptions, and we're introducing you to some of the lovely cats currently in our care!

🖤 Today, meet Luca!

There's something about a beautiful black cat, isn't there? Those gorgeous green eyes, shiny black coat and handsome little face! 😍

And Luca's personality is just as lovely as his looks.

He's a very affectionate boy who absolutely loves a good pat. In his video, you'll see just how smoochy he gets when someone gives him a little attention. ❤️

He also has a best mate at the shelter, Lennox, and it's lovely watching the two of them together.

If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate companion, Luca could be your boy!

🎃 OCTOBER CAT SPECIAL - MEET SAKARI 🐾✨

IS YOUR CAT LOOKING FOR A FRIEND? 🐱❤️

There's a little bit of magic happening at GARG this October, with discounted adoption fees on our featured cats for October only!

And our next lovely girl is Sakari.

Now, Sakari is a little different. She's very shy around people she doesn't know, and winning her trust will take some time and patience.

But other cats? She absolutely loves them! ❤️

We think Sakari could be a wonderful addition to a home with a friendly, sociable cat who might help her feel more comfortable and confident.

She's not the sort of girl who's going to rush over and demand cuddles from a stranger. She'll need someone who understands that building trust takes time and is happy to let her settle at her own pace.

And can we just appreciate how beautiful she is? 😍

That striking black-and-white coat, gorgeous lime-green eyes and little pink nose! She's quite the looker.

🐾 SAKARI | Domestic Short Hair | Female
🎂 Born 01/07/2025
📞 Cat adoption enquiries: 0499 693 792

Sakari's adoption fee is discounted for October only.

If you have a friendly cat at home and room for another, perhaps Sakari could be the one. 🐾❤️

❤️ HAPPY MONDAY! WHAT A WEEK FOR ADOPTIONS! 🐾

We've had a fantastic run of adoptions, with so many of our beautiful cats heading off to their new homes! 🐱❤️

And a few lucky dogs too!

We absolutely love sharing these photos, and a huge thank you to every family who has chosen to adopt from GARG.

Of course, none of these happy endings would be possible without our incredible volunteers and foster carers, who work tirelessly behind the scenes caring for our animals every single day.

And speaking of volunteers… we could really use a few more! 🐾

With Christmas and the festive season approaching, we're looking for extra hands to help care for our shelter dogs. Our volunteers need time with their families too, but our dogs still need feeding, walking and looking after every day.

🐶 Morning shifts: 6:00am
🐶 Afternoon shifts: 4:00pm
🐶 Minimum age: 16 years
🐶 Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.

Even one shift a week would be a huge help!

📞 Interested? Call Betty on 0499 693 792.

To everyone who adopts, fosters, volunteers or supports GARG in any way - thank you. ❤️

And please share this post. You might know someone who'd love to join our volunteer team!

🐶 LOOKING FOR A DOG? COME AND MEET OURS THIS SUNDAY! 🐾

Our Dog Adoption Day is on again this Sunday, and we've got some lovely dogs who would be very happy to meet you!

Different ages, personalities and energy levels - some are full of enthusiasm, others are a little more laid-back. The trick is finding the right match for your home and lifestyle.

We've updated our adoption photos, so have a look through and see who's currently waiting.

🎃 OCTOBER CAT SPECIAL - MEET SABLE ✨🐾

There’s a little bit of magic happening at GARG this October…

For October only, we’re featuring some of our beautiful cats with discounted adoption fees - and next up is the absolutely gorgeous Sable.

And honestly… what a beautiful girl she is. ❤️

Sable is incredibly affectionate and loving. She’s one of those cats who makes it very easy to fall for her - happy to soak up your attention and give plenty of affection straight back.

She’s just turned three, so she’s well past the tiny-kitten chaos but still a young cat with plenty of life ahead of her. And with those huge green eyes and beautiful tabby markings, she’s rather hard to walk past. 😍

🐾 SABLE | Domestic Short Hair | Female
🎂 Born 30/09/2023
📞 Cat adoption enquiries: 0499 693 792

Sable’s adoption fee is discounted for October only.

Better yet, you can come and meet this lovely girl in person at Cat Adoption Day this Saturday.

📅 Saturday 10 October
⏰ 9:30am–11:30am
📍 17 Pams Court, Beecher

Come and say hello to Sable. We suspect she’ll do a pretty good job of selling herself. ❤️🐱

🎃 OCTOBER CAT SPECIAL - MEET SOOTY 🖤✨

There’s a little bit of magic happening at GARG this October…

For October only, we’re featuring some of our beautiful cats with discounted adoption fees - and today it’s Sooty’s turn.

Sooty can be a little shy when you first approach him, and in the shelter it would be very easy to mistake that for him wanting to be left alone.

He definitely doesn’t. ❤️

Once the pats started, this gorgeous boy was leaning right into them and soaking up every bit of affection. He’s incredibly sweet once he realises he can trust you.

We think Sooty would really shine in a quieter household where he can settle in at his own pace. Give him a little patience at the beginning and you may find yourself with a very affectionate little shadow. 🖤

And those enormous golden eyes against that glossy black coat certainly don’t hurt either. ✨

🐾 SOOTY | Domestic Short Hair | Male
🎂 Born 19/04/2025
📞 Cat adoption enquiries: 0499 693 792

Sooty’s adoption fee is discounted for October only.

He might not be the first cat to demand your attention - but give him some, and you’ll quickly discover how much he loves it. ❤️
