I get so many lovely messages and thought it’s about time I start sharing some:

Keep kicking goals samatha and niblet 🏆

Hey Simone just wanted to send you a message and let you know you’ve worked an absolute miracle on niblet

We had our first lesson since the saddle fit and as if by magic he gave me a beautiful canter down the long side of the arena with out missing a beat. Usually he broncs and really struggles but he not only gave it to me with very little aid but also discovered hooning is fun with a rider and become a horse that needed slowing down instead of kicking on

Thank you again and can’t wait to catch you next time you’re down 🙂

🐴 Apparently I have a new admin assistant… although he seems more interested in checking the paperwork than actually completing it 😂

Just a quick note about bookings!

Equigate can occasionally be a little temperamental, so I absolutely still take bookings via Facebook DM or phone. However, where possible, priority will be given to clients booking and communicating through the Equigate app.

Equigate helps me keep your horse’s details, saddle fitting history, appointments and communication together in one place — particularly important when I’m travelling and seeing a lot of horses.

I’ll also be using Equigate more in the future to share additional information and keep everything relating to your horse easily accessible.

So if Equigate is behaving itself, it’s my preferred way to book. If it isn’t, don’t panic — just send me a DM or give me a call. 😊

Well. There we have it. Science has spoken.

After years of speculation, researchers at the highly respected Institute of Magnificent Saddle Research have finally confirmed what we’ve suspected all along.

People who get their saddles checked regularly are, in fact, cooler, sexier and happier than people who don’t.

Dr Neighomi Trotter described the findings as “conclusive”, before adding, “Phwoar. Look at them.”

Obviously I’m not one to argue with science.

So if your saddle hasn’t been checked for a while, this is no longer simply a matter of saddle fit.

Your entire cool-o-meter might also be at risk.

Please seek professional help immediately.

Look for the Society of Master Saddlers badge and use a qualified saddle fitter.

*Results may vary. Institute of Magnificent Saddle Research does not actually exist. Sadly

👀 SPOT WHAT’S WRONG HERE…

This saddle came across my bench today. It had been fitted by another saddle fitter in January 2026.

How many things can you spot? 🔎

There are a few…👀

📣 TASMANIA — I’M COMING BACK! 🐴

After a fantastic trip earlier this year, I’m looking forward to getting back across the Strait for another week of saddle fitting throughout Tasmania.
