❄️ Deshedding isn’t just for summer! 🐾

It’s easy to think your dog needs all that extra coat to keep warm through winter — but a healthy winter coat still needs regular maintenance. 🛁

During the cooler months, loose undercoat can build up and become trapped within the coat. Without regular grooming, this can lead to:

💙 Excess loose & compacted undercoat
🩷 Matting and tangles
💙 Reduced airflow through the coat
🩷 Extra shedding around the home
💙 A coat that becomes harder to properly clean and dry

And yes… even short coats! 👀🐾

Short-haired doesn’t necessarily mean low shedding. Many short-coated breeds can drop an incredible amount of coat and benefit from a professional deshed too. ✨

A professional deshed helps remove the loose, dead coat while leaving the healthy coat exactly where it belongs.

And with dogs spending more time indoors over winter, keeping on top of that shedding can make a pretty big difference to your floors, furniture…and clothes too. 😂

🐾 International Dog Day 🐾

Today is for all the dogs who have been part of our lives — the ones curled up beside us now, and the ones who have left their paw prints on our hearts forever. 🤍

This photo is an old favourite. Two beautiful faces we’ve since had to say goodbye to… and if you look closely, you’ll spot a tiny puppy Lola peeking out from her crate in the background. 🥹🐾

It’s funny how an ordinary photo can become so incredibly special with time.

Dogs are with us for such a small part of our lives, but somehow manage to become such a huge part of them. The adventures, the chaos, the cuddles, the routines and all those little everyday moments we don’t realise we’ll treasure quite so much one day.

So today we’re celebrating all of them — those still walking beside us and those we carry with us. 🩷💙
