🚨 IMPORTANT H5 BIRD FLU UPDATE 🚨

With H5 bird flu still very prevalent, we ask all pet owners and members of the community to please familiarise themselves with the signs and risks.

🦜 We also kindly ask that you DO NOT bring sick or injured birds into South Valley Vet Clinic.

If you find a sick, injured or deceased wild bird or other wildlife, please phone us first on 5244 4202 for advice on how to handle the situation. This not only helps protect our patients and staff but also the wider community from potential exposure.

If you’ve visited the clinic over the past two years, chances are you’ve been greeted by Dr Sophie. Her bubbly personality, infectious smile, and kindness and compassion for every patient and client have made her a much-loved part of the South Valley Vet Clinic family.

As many of our clients know, Sophie has recently begun her maternity leave. While we certainly miss having her around the clinic, we are so excited for her as she steps into this beautiful new chapter.

In the meantime, we’re very pleased to introduce her partner, Dr Paddy, to the South Valley Vet Clinic family. Paddy has settled in seamlessly and quickly become a familiar face around the clinic. He brings a friendly, easy-going energy along with a genuine care for both people and animals, making him a wonderful fit for our team. We're certain you’ll all love getting to know him over the coming months.

Please join us in wishing Sophie, Paddy, and their growing family all the very best as they await the arrival of their little girl 💗
