EXTREMELY difficult decision to lease my heart horse out, but unfortunately I just donāt have the time to get him out and about right now.
I have had Fred for most of his life, he was professionally started, attended a few shows before racing, had 8 starts on the track, then retired and came straight home to me. Since then he has been off property on lead around the you yangs, beach trips and ridden trips to equestrian centres.
He has since been sitting as a paddock ornament since September 2025.
Has been pulled out of the paddock and had a sit in the past fortnight. Didnāt bat an eyelid at anything and is extremely easy to bring back into work.
He is still my big baby at heart.
He is very respectful on ground and under saddle.
Easy to float, trim/shoe, worm and vaccinate.
Has never bucked, bolted, reared, bitten or kicked.
I would love to see him go to a long term lease home where he will gain more exposure and experience with someone who is looking to produce a horse themselves as his training is very basic currently.
Freddy will only go to a thoroughly approved home who will provide regular updates.
Can discuss long term lease details with the right person.
Note: Fred has clicky joints, have had them thoroughly checked with vets and there are no issues at all. Just harmless gas bubbles.
