🐾 A LITTLE NOTE TO OUR FUTURE PUPPY FAMILIES 🐾

Parvo is always at the forefront of our minds when it comes to protecting our precious puppies, and we take their health and safety very seriously! ❤️

When visiting our puppies, please expect to be asked whether you’ve recently been around other dogs. We also ask that shoes be sprayed at the front door before entering. 👟🧴

This isn’t about being overprotective or making things difficult — it’s about taking every possible precaution to protect our babies from parvovirus, a highly contagious and potentially fatal disease, which can be carried into our home on shoes and other contaminated items.

Our puppies depend on us to give them the safest possible start in life, and we take that responsibility seriously. 🐶💕

We appreciate your understanding, cooperation and respect for the measures we have in place. After all, prevention is always better than cure, and no precaution is too small when it comes to protecting these precious little lives. ❤️

Toledo 4 Berth Dog Float / Trailer with Wardrobe — $4,800 ono
A great opportunity to buy a well-equipped Toledo dog float, ready for shows and travel. Toledo trailers are no longer being made, so this four-berth model with wardrobe is becoming a hard-to-find setup.
Manufactured in 2005, it’s used and not perfect cosmetically, but it is fully functional, has no leaks and tows very well. Selling because I’m downsizing and need the space.
Included extras and upgrades:
- Gen2 Mini Mover powered jockey wheel, second-hand, with fittings included. The jockey wheel and fittings cost over $350.
- Custom-made, H/Duty canvas-covered high-density foam mats. The two rear-bay mats have hardly been used; the mats cost $450.
- Daytona aluminium toolbox, professionally fitted on steel brackets: 1220 × 370 × 390 mm.
- Hot-Dipped Galvanised trolley/crate rack, holds four 48-inch crates 1170mm x 360mm.
- Hot-Dipped Galvanised roof racks & Alloy Basket 1260 x 1860 (not currently fitted to trailer) but part of the bundle!
- Spare tyre carrier fitted to the rear bumper.
- Heavy rubber Ute Matting on all bays.
- A couple of spare trailer plug/lead included.
Four berths plus wardrobe/storage:
- Front berths: 1120 × 885 mm
- Rear berths: 1200 × 885 mm
- Wardrobe: 1770 × 610 mm, with one larger door for show trolley access.
More details:
- "Structaply" flooring in very good condition (not painted slats).
- No leaks; tows very well
- Registered until September 2027
- Overall length, tow coupling to bumper: 3520 mm
- Trailer body width: 1770 mm; 1860 mm including door handles
- 7-pin flat plug to car and removable 7-pin round plug to trailer
I bought the trailer for $4,000 and have since spent well over $3,000 on extras and improvements. Asking $4,800 ono.

Every puppy is cute — know your breeder.

And knowing your breeder means understanding what responsible breeding actually looks like.

One common piece of advice is, “Go and meet both parents.” That’s not always possible—and it shouldn’t automatically be treated as a red flag if the sire isn’t there.

Many responsible breeders use an outside stud dog. The sire may live with another breeder, in another state, or even another country. What matters is that the breeder can provide appropriate information about him, including his pedigree, health testing and relevant history.

And here’s something prospective puppy buyers sometimes don’t expect:

If you’ve found a genuinely responsible breeder, you’re likely to be assessed, too.

You’re not simply handing over money and taking home a puppy.

A good breeder will want to know about you, your household, your experience with dogs, your lifestyle, where the puppy will live, what you expect from the dog and whether the particular puppy is actually a suitable match for you.

They may ask a lot of questions.

They may want references.

They may have conditions in their contract.

They may even tell you that a particular puppy—or their puppies generally—aren’t suitable for your circumstances.

That’s not necessarily the breeder being difficult.

That’s the breeder taking responsibility for where the puppy ends up.

The relationship shouldn’t end when the money changes hands, either. A responsible breeder should have an interest in the welfare of the dog throughout its life and be willing to provide support and, where appropriate, take a dog back or assist with rehoming if circumstances change.

So don’t judge a breeder simply by the price of the puppy, whether the sire is physically present, or how cute the puppies are.

Ask questions. Expect questions in return.

Look at the health testing. Understand the breeding decisions. Meet the dam where possible. Find out about the sire. Look at how the puppies are raised. Read the contract. Understand the breeder’s commitment after the sale.

The best breeders aren’t just looking for someone who can afford their puppy. They’re looking for the right FOREVER home for their puppy.

Every puppy is cute. Know your breeder.
