Miss Pollyanna came in for her first groom today and had some matting on her feet, ears, armpits and tail - which is super common in curly coated dogs as the hair can tangle so easily. Unfortunately, matting is both difficult and painful to detangle so the best option is typically to take the coat short and start again!
Pollyanna will be feeling so much more comfortable and will grow a fluffy new coat in no time 🤩

❤️‍🔥Ch. Avrilstoys He’s a Heartbreaker❤️‍🔥

Fonz and I have had a busy couple of days showing and have come away with some fabulous results, compliments, and many things to work on…out of the 3 shows we entered, Fonzie was awarded 3x challenge dog, 3x best of breeds, a best minor puppy in group, and the last points needed for his champion title!!

At 11 months old and after just 4 months of showing, Fonzie is now an Australian champion (pending dogsnsw)🐩

I’ve had such a fun time learning all about the intricacies of showing and poodle grooming for the show ring, and Fonz truly loves the days out and pamper sessions! So much more to learn but it’s onwards and upwards from here ✨

Hello! My name is Gabi, and these are my pups Marnie and Fonz. I’ve always had a passion for dog welfare and husbandry so began grooming as a way to keep my own happy and comfortable, but I’ve fallen in love with it 🐩

Some services offered include:
baths
basic shave downs (including matted dogs)
comfort grooms
hygiene clips
outline trims and tidy ups
de-sheds
skin/coat treatments
nail trims
some breed specific trims
stylised, hand-scissored trims

I’m not a professional, but have extensive experience handling/training dogs, have groomed my own and families/friend’s for years, and am always learning and looking to improve my skills. Your dog’s needs and comfort always come first 💕
