The Forest Hill Veterinary Clinic, as it was originally called, was founded in 1975 and operated for many years as a single vet practice. In 2008, our small clinic on Canterbury Road underwent extensive modernisation and extension works to transform it into the state of the art Veterinary Hospital it is today. Our updated facility has enabled us to provide better services for our existing clients in a comfortable modern setting and to cater for the needs of our expanding practice well into the future. We service Forest Hill, Blackburn, Nunawading, Mitcham, Vermont, Vermont South, Glen Waverley, Blackburn/Blackburn South and surrounding suburbs.

🐾 Sometimes the recovery room gives us a moment that is just too good not to share... 🐾

Rush visited Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital today for a lumpectomy and was an absolute star patient from admission right through to recovery.

After a smooth procedure, some careful monitoring and a well-earned snack, Rush decided he had everything he needed.

Food? ✅

Comfy bed? ✅

Food bowl? ✅

Pillow? Apparently also ✅

After finishing his lunch, Rush promptly rested his head in the bowl and seemed completely satisfied with his life choices. 🥣😴

Thankfully his recovery was as successful as his creative use of hospital equipment, and before long he was back on his feet and charming the nursing team.

We hope you're now relaxing comfortably at home, Rush, and dreaming about your next snack.

We couldn't possibly choose! 💙

These adorable little faces are just some of the puppies we've had the pleasure of meeting recently at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital. From floppy ears and puppy dog eyes to zoomies and endless curiosity, every one of them has brightened our team's day.

Watching puppies grow, learn and start their journey through life is one of the best parts of what we do. 🐶

Milo joined us today for his castration procedure and quickly became a favourite with the team.

His dedicated anaesthetic nurse - Lauren (pictured) was very impressed with what a wonderful patient he was. From admission through to recovery, Milo took everything in his stride and enjoyed a beautifully smooth anaesthetic with plenty of individual care and monitoring along the way.

Not long after waking up, Milo was out stretching his legs, taking a leisurely stroll around the hospital grounds and enjoying a small post-operative snack. Safe to say he was feeling pretty pleased with himself! 🐶

With those trademark Frenchie ears and a face that's impossible to resist, Milo had no shortage of admirers throughout the day.

He's now back at home where his main job is simple: rest, recover and soak up all the extra attention from his family. 💙

Give Milo a ❤️ and wish him a speedy recovery!
