🤍 JOIN THE FIORE HILLS TEAM 🤍

Fiore Hills Equestrian is looking for a reliable, motivated and proactive Equine Assistant to join our growing boutique training and agistment facility near Fernvale, QLD.

This is a casual position with regular morning and afternoon shifts. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities for additional hours and responsibilities for the right person.

Your role will include:
• Morning feed up and horse care
• Afternoon horse care duties
• Bringing horses in and out
• Cleaning yards and shelters
• Keeping the property, feed areas and equipment clean and tidy
• General horse care and day-to-day yard duties

This position would suit someone studying, working around another job, or simply looking for regular part-time work. It is best suited to someone looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the business.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous horse handling experience
• Is confident working around a variety of horses
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Is motivated, proactive and able to work independently
• Has a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Shares our commitment to exceptional horse care

The right environment changes everything ✨

There’s something special about finding your people. The people who celebrate the wins, support the hard days, and believe in doing things the right way, not the fast way.

At Fiore Hills, we’re building a supportive community of riders and owners who value good horsemanship, kindness and progress with purpose. A horse before sport approach is always at the heart of what we do ❤️

If that sounds like your kind of environment, we’d love to hear from you

Still a little emotional after Marburg yesterday 🥹✨

Bugsy 🥹 my beautiful Space Journey stepped around the 80 for 4th place and jumped his second ever 90 yesterday. He is just SUCH a nice horse to have around. He definitely has a lot more in the tank, but right now we’re prioritising confidence, strength and keeping everything relaxed and positive. His time to step up won’t be far away ✨

I honestly can’t thank Jesse and Jamaica from Townsend Racing enough for trusting me with such a beautiful boy and making the trip out to watch us go around ❤️

And Quincy ❤️ what a special day with him. He jumped his first ever 90 and his first ever 100 yesterday… and not only was it Quincy’s first 100, it was my first 100 in about 3 years. After some time away from the sport due to injuries and life getting in the way a bit, it honestly meant so much to be back out there doing it again.

He was such a good boy all day. We had a couple of rider error rails, but he was so honest and helped me out like an absolute champ. I’m so proud of him.

Talk about Mr Versatile too… Quincy went from being lesson pony on Thursday night, to archery pony on Friday, then straight back to showjumper on Saturday 😂 He’s really proving he’s multitalented.

Huge thank you to:
🤍 My mum for giving up her Saturday for me
🤍 Jennifer Bain for coming to support us and taking the best photos of my boys
🤍 Emily Hubble at home for always helping feed, look after everyone and making sure Quincy gets all the treats and kisses

Feeling very lucky to have these two boys in my team

Introducing Moose 🫎

Moose is our 2024 c**t by Bellhaven Diamant out of Belleview Asha (Vivant), and he’s already become a very special little part of Fiore Hills.

He’s kind, curious and already more than I ever could have hoped for… although admittedly much bigger than I planned 🦒

A huge thank you to Deb for all of her help and support along the way, and to Luke for all of the time and effort you’ve put into helping Moose through all of his first little milestones 🤍

Despite technically being a baby, Moose is secretly an 80 year old man at heart and spends most of his time hanging out with our two old men, Benny and his uncle Voom.

We’re very excited to watch him grow up and see what the future holds for him… hopefully he inherited his dad’s jump ✨

A little recap of Desi’s time with us 🤍

Desi came in for a bit of a reset as his owner Jen has just had a baby, so he’d been enjoying some holiday time and was feeling super fresh and ready to test things a bit.

With some consistent work and a few outings, he started to settle back into himself and come back to the job, and quickly turned into a favourite in the paddock 💕

The best part was seeing Jen hop back in the saddle and feel confident ✨

He’s now back home, but you’ll still see him out with us at a few local shows.

The best boys! Thank you for the amazing photos 🥰

Last weekend we took the kids out to Hatton Vale Jump Day ✨

4 year old Alice had her first ever show and, despite a few baby moments, jumped a super cute clear 60cm and just one down in the 70cm. So good to have her back with us 🐴

Quincy, our resident pretty boy, jumped a beautiful clear 80cm and a quick jump off to take the win. He’s definitely ready to step up and I’m very excited for his season ahead ✨

Well Friday might have sparked a slight discipline change…

We took Bugsy and Rosie up to Toowoomba for a cross country lesson and they made the whole thing feel far too easy.

Bugsy’s first ever time out on course and he jumped around like a pro. As always Rosie was a little pocket rocket and absolutely loved it, she’s proving more and more that a discipline change might be in order for her as a future eventer (I may need to recruit someone a little braver to take the reins!)

Both tackled their first ditches without hesitation, were completely hoof perfect, and have clearly decided they are water horses.

Always rewarding to step outside the arena and build confidence in a new environment
