Meet Frankie! 🐾

This tiny little Italian Greyhound came in for his vaccination and was quite possibly the cutest little patient we’ve had in our hands! 🥹

Frankie was so teeny, he practically fit in the palm of our hands. 🥰

Safe to say, we were all a little bit obsessed! 💚

Congratulations to Natasha! Tash received the award for ‘2026 Nurse Mentor of the Year’. We are incredibly proud of her for this well deserved achievement. She is an integral part of Greencross Caloundra and the team would be lost without her!

Bird flu is making headlines, so Better Homes & Gardens asked Greencross Vets what it means for our pets.

Greencross Vets veterinarian Dr Nina shares practical advice to help pet parents understand the risks and take simple precautions.

“Bird flu can infect all mammals, so dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets can all be infected.”

From avoiding contact with sick or dead wildlife to keeping cats indoors and dogs on a leash around wildlife, a few simple steps can help reduce exposure.

Read Dr Nina’s advice and the full Better Homes & Gardens article at:

The best things really do come in pairs! From matching outfits to matching dental procedures Ace and Zero went through it all together. 🐾🥺

Ziggy came in for his castrate last week! 🐶💙 He was just too cute to resist, so naturally, he spent most of the day getting cuddles from the team! 🥰

🖤 A majestic visitor who never should have needed a trip to the vet.

This beautiful black swan was found with a fishing hook stuck in its mouth - a painful and completely preventable injury caused by discarded fishing gear.

Removing the hook required a general anaesthetic, along with pain relief to keep this feathered patient comfortable while we treated them. 🦢

A reminder to all anglers: please take your fishing line, hooks and tackle home with you or use a designated disposal bin. The Victorian Fisheries Authority advises that old fishing line should be placed in bins, or if there are no bins available, taken home, cut up and disposed of in general waste. Their Seal the Loop program also provides dedicated bins for unwanted fishing line, hooks, netting and rope. (VFA)

Discarded fishing gear can cause entanglement, injury and even death to wildlife. A few extra seconds to dispose of your gear properly can make a huge difference. 💔

🎣 Fish responsibly. Dispose responsibly. Protect our wildlife. A big thanks for the wildlife careers for bringing this amazing swan in and thanks to our team for helping 🫶🏼

Pepsi is in her 🌟 Brave Girl Era 🌟

She was so brave after her desexing procedure recently that she received a hand drawn Bravery Certificate! Here she is pictured with Nurse Caitie having some post surgery cuddles 🥰

🐾✨ Stella’s surgery success! ✨🐾

Sweet 11-year-old Stella recently underwent an emergency cystotomy with us to remove bladder stones. 🩺💗

After her procedure and a little time to recover, Stella is now doing amazingly well so far and almost back to being her happy self! 🥰🐶

We’re so pleased to see this beautiful girl feeling comfortable and healthy again. 💕

From Thursday 1 December 2022, our Faulconbridge clinic will be permanently closed, no longer offering grooming or food/preventative sales.

We are so happy for the many new pet parents experiencing the joy of loving a pet, however with a steep increase in pet ownership and a national shortage of veterinary staff, we have made the difficult decision to close.

For your ongoing veterinary care needs, please note:
• Greencross Vets Winamalee is nearby and your pet’s records will be on file.
• You can speak with a Greencross WebVet 24/7 via video call. They will assess your pet via video, take notes of your pet’s condition and share the advice provided with your regular vet, ensuring continuity of care. WebVet is free for Healthy Pets Plus members.
• Healthy Pets Plus members can redeem their benefits at any Greencross Vets location.

We apologise for inconvenience caused and thank you for your support.

For the love of healthy, happy pets,
The team at Greencross Vets Faulconbridge

Thank you to everyone who helped support us at the Faulconbridge Public School Twilight Markets.

We had a great night full of prizes, lots of wheel spins, colourful bandages, competition entries and giving health checks to our volunteer ‘patients’.

I’m very proud to announce that we raised $79 that will be going straight to our Petbarn Pet Foundation charity, where 100% of donations go directly to animals in need.

Thank you again for everyone’s support, our competition winner will be announced shortly.

Oh dear!

I’m sure there are a few people here who’ve come home to dogs in a pretty similar state to these cute guys following all this rain?

Post a pic in the comments!
