We’re thrilled to share that Dr Sakina is stepping into the Lead Vet role alongside Dr Ben 🐾

Many of you will already know Dr Sakina as a familiar and trusted face at our clinic. Since joining the team, she has become an integral part of our hospital family and we’re so excited to see her take this next step in her journey with us.

Dr Sakina graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 from Pakistan, where she was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence. She has been practicing in Australia since 2018 and has successfully completed the Australasian Veterinary Examination (AVE).

Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery and veterinary behaviour, and she is deeply committed to creating low-stress, positive experiences for every patient while achieving the best possible outcomes. With her friendly, approachable nature and focus on clear communication, Dr Sakina works closely with both clients and colleagues to ensure the best possible care.

For Dr Sakina, Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital truly feels like a second home and we’re proud to have her continue growing with us in this leadership role.
