✨ Meet Frank! ✨

This very dapper Isabella Dachshund came in for his castration and was the very best boy from start to finish. Naturally, he deserved ALL the attention! 🥰

Castration helps prevent unwanted litters, protects against problems like testicular cancer, and may help reduce hormone-driven behaviours such as roaming and urine marking.

Well done, Frank! 💙🐾

🦷 Can you spot the difference?

Charlie and Lola came in for their dental procedures, and their teeth looked pretty similar on the surface. But underneath, their dental health was very different!

Charlie only needed a clean and polish, while Lola’s dental X-rays revealed degraded tooth roots, meaning some teeth needed to be extracted.

Even as siblings living in the same household, every dog’s dental health is different. 🐶🦷

The takeaway? What you can see isn’t always the whole story! Regular dental checks and professional dental care help keep those smiles healthy.

These munchkins received $100 off their dental procedure each by booking a free nurse dental assessment.

Look at that handsome face! 🐾

Charlie’s owner brought him in for a skin cancer check after noticing a small lesion on his nose. Luckily, the lesion was caught in its early stages, allowing Charlie to undergo a cryotherapy procedure.

Cryotherapy uses extreme cold, delivered via liquid nitrogen, to freeze and destroy abnormal cells. This helps control the tumour and, hopefully, prevent further growth.

Because the lesion was detected early, cryotherapy provided a less invasive treatment option than surgery, which may have required removal of a significant portion of Charlie’s nose.

A great reminder to keep an eye out for any new or changing lumps, bumps or lesions on your pet. Early detection can make a big difference. 💙

Has this mischievous little scallywag from Nailsworth pulled a Houdini on you? Thunder's made a break for it, leaving his Mum in a right old pickle! He's 10 months young, not desexed or microchipped, so maybe he's on the hunt for a new main squeeze... 🐾😂 If you spot this charming rogue, give Dimi a buzz on 0451540268 or Payneham Vet Centre with his whereabouts
