S1441. Quartz with chlorite inclusions, (garden quartz). $65 Includes free post in Australia.
7.5 x 3.3 x 2.6 cm.
From Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
A glassy, single terminated quartz crystal with a garden like inclusion of green chlorite and some fine needles of tourmaline? Clean termination and some great micro textures on the main faces. A 1 cm daughter crystal with great phantom texture and chlorite sits on one side. A small contact at the base as well as impressions left by other crystals. What appears like a small ding on the upper back is actually filled with clay and is a natural contact. In good condition. Originally listed at US $85 some years ago.
