One of the best parts of what we do is hearing how horses are getting on.

A customer recently shared her experience with a mare who used to be very nervous when floating, would shy dramatically on trail rides and struggled with confidence in unfamiliar situations.

After using NervoMag, she started noticing some lovely changes.

Her mare now self-loads calmly, travels more relaxed and has become a horse she can trust and enjoy out on the trails.

Reading updates like this always puts a smile on our faces. Every horse is different and every journey is unique, but we love hearing these stories from owners.

Have you ever had a horse that surprised you with how much they changed once they became more relaxed and confident? 🐴❤️

Running a small horse business means...
..packing orders before breakfast.
..answering messages between feeding horses.
..getting far too excited when a customer sends an update about their horse.

Honestly, hearing how horses are going after trying our products is one of our favourite parts of the job.

Some of the messages we've received over the years have absolutely made our day.

If you've used one of our products, we'd love to hear how your horse is going. 🐴❤️

One thing we've learned over the years is that horses are always trying to tell us something.

A horse that suddenly becomes spooky.
A horse that's grumpy when being saddled.
A horse that's reluctant to move forward.
A horse that's just not quite himself.

They're often not being difficult. They're communicating the only way they know how.

Sometimes it's discomfort.
Sometimes it's worry.
Sometimes it's something else entirely.

Before we label a horse as naughty, it's worth taking a moment to ask why.

Has your horse done something recently that made you think, "That's not like him"?

We'd love to hear your stories below 👇🐴

✨ A small shift can change everything ✨

Sometimes it’s not about doing more with your horse…
It’s about noticing what they’re telling you.

That moment when they:
• soften through the jaw
• take a deeper breath
• lower their head just a little

That’s not random - that’s communication.

And when we learn to recognise it - and support it - that’s where real progress starts.

Whether it’s through training, environment, or nutritional support, helping your horse feel safe and comfortable in their body makes everything else easier 💚

Because a relaxed horse isn’t “switched off”…
They’re better able to learn, process and respond.

💬 Have you noticed a small change in your horse lately that made a big difference? We’d love to hear about it.

This clever cavaletti setup using kids’ potties as risers continues to be a simple, affordable, and surprisingly effective solution.

Over time, we’ve seen some great variations:
• Filling them with gravel and sealing the top for added stability (very sturdy, though less stackable)
• Using removable sand or rock bags inside — adding weight while keeping them easy to store

We’ve been in a bit of a DIY phase again lately, so this one definitely deserves another mention.

We’d love to hear from you:
Have you tried this setup, or created your own version?

Feel free to share a photo or idea in the comments — it’s always great to see what others are doing.

Some horses just find it harder to relax 🤍

Not because they're naughty.
Not because they're badly trained.

Sometimes they're simply worried horses.

Always looking around.
Always expecting something to happen.
Always ready to react.

Over time, many owners become so used to these behaviours that they start to seem normal.

One of the things we often hear after horses start on NervoMag is:

💬 "He's still the same horse — just much more settled."

That's exactly what we want.

Not a horse that's switched off.
Not a horse that's sedated.

Just a horse that feels comfortable enough to think before reacting.

NervoMag was developed to support horses that struggle with tension, worry and overstimulation using highly bioavailable magnesium, tryptophan and other carefully selected nutrients.

Every horse is different but helping horses feel more comfortable in themselves is one of the reasons we love what we do. 🤍

If you'd like to know whether NervoMag may suit your horse, feel free to send us a message and tell us a little about your horse.

Weekend Training Idea 🤍

Looking for something fun to try with your horse this weekend?

We came across this lovely pole exercise shared by Cavallo and thought it was too good not to share.

This pattern is a great way to encourage balance, coordination, focus, and body awareness while keeping your training sessions interesting.

💡 Adjust it to suit your horse:
• New to pole work? Start at a walk and allow plenty of space between the poles.
• Building confidence? Take your time through the turns and focus on rhythm rather than accuracy.
• More experienced horse? Try the exercise in a controlled trot or gradually make the turns a little tighter to increase the challenge.

Remember, the goal isn't speed—it's relaxation, balance, and quality movement. Take your time and let your horse work things out.

Have a go this weekend and let us know how your horse finds it! 🤍

Some horses simply find it hard to switch off 🤍

Not every tense or reactive horse is being “naughty”.

Sometimes it shows up as:
• always looking for danger
• struggling to stand still
• overreacting to small things
• finding it hard to settle after work
• constantly being on alert

Many horses become very good at hiding stress and tension, so the signs can slowly become “normal” over time.

A lot of these horses don’t need more pressure — they need help feeling comfortable enough to finally relax. 🌿

Paradise paddocks and paddock trails can absolutely be created on smaller properties too — they just take a little creativity, planning, and often a fair bit of hard work if you’re building them yourself without machinery. 🐴🌿

The idea is to create variety and encourage natural movement, much like horses would experience in the wild. Different surfaces, different levels of challenge, wet and dry areas, softer and firmer footing, spaces to rest, explore and navigate — all helping to keep both body and mind engaged.

Instead of horses standing in one grassy paddock all day, you can create a track system around the outer edge of the paddock. Along the track, place water, hay stations, shelter and resting areas in different locations to encourage horses to move naturally throughout the day.

This kind of setup can help keep horses physically active, mentally stimulated and simply happier in themselves. 💚

Here are a few ideas and inspiration photos for anyone considering creating their own paddock trail system…

Please feel free to share with friends — we always love hearing your feedback and welcoming new page likes 🙂
