I asked him how do we make sense of the crazy awefulness of all that has happened over the last 12 months.

His answer: You will know, when calm, you are …..

Now to achive inner calm and peace.

Any tips on short cuts to inner calm and peace most gratefully welcome.

We were looking forward to a great crop of Bowen mangos from our tree this year - it was loaded with a great crop…..but the wild storm yesterday blew most of them off the tree.
Oh well, we will have to make Yum Mamuang (thai green mango salad) instead.
These are the disappointments and joys of urban farming.

It is honey harvesting day here in the micro farm. Our bees have been so busy they have run out of room in their hive, so we are taking half of their honey for us.
We will go up to their hi e to ifr when they are all home and thank them lfor their contribution to our community and their help in making our garden so productive through their pollination.
Bee thankful!! 🐝

This is Agnus.
Agnus is ‘broody’
Agnus is trying to hatch unfertilised duck and chicken eggs as well as a lime 😂
Agnus is VERY cranky that I remove the eggs and limes from under her every day. 🥹
Post script ….. this has been going on every day for a week…. and every day I find she has gathered the other hen eggs and at least 1 lime into her brood…..sometimes 2 limes 🤣😂

We are excited to be hosting the Moorooka Food Growers to our tiny farm on Sunday.
I need to remind myself that a food producing garden is a messy organic ‘thing’ that shouldn’t look like a display in Better Homes and Gardens!!
Perhaps i should sit down and have a coffee instead of worrying about how unprepared it all looks. 🐓😳💜
