🐾 Exciting Changes Are Coming to Pro Pet Food 🐾

As our business continues to grow, we're excited to share some upcoming improvements designed to provide even better nutrition, packaging and service for our customers and their pets.

🥑 Recipe Glow Ups
Over the next two weeks, we'll be finalising updates across our ranges to ensure our recipes continue to provide high-quality, species-appropriate nutrition.

These improvements include:
• More bioavailable vegetables to support nutrient absorption
• The addition of carefully selected superfoods and functional ingredients
• Greater clarity around exactly what is included in each of our product ranges, making it easier for customers to choose the right option for their pets

We're committed to continually refining our recipes to deliver balanced, nutritious meals we proudly feed our own pets.

💰 Price Revisions
Like many small businesses, we've seen ongoing increases in ingredient, packaging and production costs. While we've worked hard to absorb these costs for as long as possible, some products will require price adjustments to ensure we can continue delivering the quality our customers expect.

Over the next two weeks, we will begin announcing any upcoming price changes ahead of their implementation.

📦 Packaging Improvements
We're also working on revamping our packaging options to improve convenience, reduce waste and better suit a variety of customer needs.

Our broader packaging improvements will roll out over the coming months, however we're excited to announce that our new bulk box packaging options will begin launching within the next two weeks.

As always, our goal is to provide high-quality, transparent and species-appropriate nutrition while continually improving what we offer.

Are you passionate about pets, customer service and keeping things running smoothly? We are looking for a reliable and motivated Store Manager to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in organisation and cleanliness, and can confidently manage daily operations.

About the Role
As our Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our pet food shop, ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently and customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, pack and fulfil customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and manage shop stock levels.
Serve customers and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure the shop is clean, organised and presented to a high standard.
Receive deliveries and rotate stock as required.
Work closely with the business owners to ensure smooth daily operations.
Identify areas for improvement and help streamline processes.

About You:
The ideal candidate will:

Be reliable, organised and self-motivated

Have strong customer service skills

Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Have excellent time management skills

Be physically capable of lifting and handling pet food products

Have previous retail, warehouse or management experience (preferred but not essential)

Have a genuine love for pets and animal nutrition

📢 CUSTOM ORDER PREPAYMENT POLICY

Over the past month we have been gradually introducing prepayment for custom orders. From now on, this policy will be strictly enforced.

All custom orders must be paid in full before production.

What is considered a custom order?

A custom order includes:

✔ Any customer requested mix that falls outside our standard product range

✔ Any item requiring custom packing or portioning, regardless of whether it is a standard house blend or a custom recipe

✔ Bulk orders of 10kg or more of a single blend or item

Why do we require prepayment?

Prepayment allows us to:

✔ Allocate stock specifically for your order

✔ Ensure recipes and packing instructions are accurate

✔ Avoid invoicing and pricing discrepancies

✔ Reduce waste and unused stock

✔ Provide a quicker and smoother collection experience

As custom orders are prepared specifically to your requirements, we are unable to guarantee stock allocation or production without payment being received.

Important

No prepayment = No production.

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on your invoice. Orders that remain unpaid may be delayed, moved to the next production run/week or cancelled if stock cannot be allocated.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve our processes and ensure we can provide reliable service and quality products to all of our customers.

Due to a current supply shortage, we will be temporarily removing our lamb mince and lamb mixes from the menu until a consistent supply becomes available again.

For customers with regular orders that include lamb, we’ll be happy to help create an alternative mix to suit your pet’s needs.

Do you know what goes into the food your dog eats? 😳

𝗣𝗘𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬

4 years ago, I smelled BS, so I tested an Australian-made dry food that was meant to be a novel protein dry food, and the lab test came back to say my sniffer was correct; it was actually mostly cheap chicken.

It wasn't just that the consumer was being ripped off, it was that this dry food targeted allergic dogs with their novel protein, so the dogs allergic to chicken could be affected.

In Australia, the industry is largely unregulated other than some basic government standards. We don't even have recall laws here, so when this same kibble manufacturer had mould issues, they weren't forced into an immediate recall; they could dilly dally until it got so bad that they had to say something publicly.

Whilst this dry food isn't as popular as it once was, it's still around and I still have a total lack of trust and respect in them, especially after they sent their lawyers after me when I released results.
