Chicks & fertile eggs are currently available (currently only green/olive eggs in stock), & we’re taking preorders for pullets as our chicks grown out.

Today’s egg collection from our ladies deserved a photo 🫶🏼

We’ve just started our last hatch until spring, with another 2 dozen due in about a week. A broody silkie got today’s hatch which was a mix of straight silkies & araucana x cream legbar mixes (our green egg layers). 💚

If anyone is after some day old chicks let me know, I might end up with spares 😊

One of our local customers wanted a run to go with her standard coop, so we (and when I say we, this was Nick’s idea 🤭), made a 2.5m wire day run that attaches to the front of the coop.
Very clever, looks great, and will keep the ladies safe 👏🏼🐓

*these are currently not a regular option/on our website as these cannot be transported with new coop orders (too long to all fit on one trailer), but we can make them to fit existing coops, just message us to discuss if you need something like this 😊

This Large coop- it wasn’t quite finished in this pic- went out last week with the aviary mesh wire option.
The aviary mesh has a similar gauge wire to our standard wire so it remains predator proof. This option also includes some additional filling in of gaps to stop hungry rodents getting in.

This coop looked great and had the works; oiling with cutek natural decking oil, a feeder (which now also comes with a night time lid), and a drinker. 🐓
