Competition season is well underway for many equestrians, making it the perfect time to get an expert eye over your horse to ensure they are feeling competition ready!

Mildura, we’re coming your way! 🐴💨

Our next Mildura visit is happening this Wednesday the 16th and Thursday the 17th of September. Dr Tabby and Nurse Tara are heading out to catch up with our Mildura patients and have availability to see some new faces too!

🐴 First pregnancy of the year alert! 🐴

Yesterday our vets, Dr Naomi and intern Dr Anna, went to the beautiful Blue Acres stud for some reproductive ultrasound scanning. Much to the owners excitement, one of her mares was in foal. This is our first positive pregnancy test of the season!

Pictured above is an ultrasound image of the 14 day pregnancy. Also pictured is the mare and her foal from this year. Both foals are by Blue Acres stallion ‘Smooth Blues’. Doesn’t he produce some good looking foals ? 😍

🩺👩‍⚕️WELCOME DR TABBY GAMMAGE🩺👩‍⚕️

We are excited to announce that Dr Tabby Gammage, BVM & S, MRCVS has joined the Bendigo Equine Hospital!

Dr Tabby graduated as a veterinarian in 2023 and began her veterinary career in North Yorkshire, UK, where she gained valuable experience working in equine practice. Growing up in the UK, she has always had a strong passion for horses and equine veterinary medicine. During her time in North Yorkshire, she developed her clinical skills while working with a diverse range of equine patients and cases. Dr Tabby has a particular interest in stud work and lameness, and enjoys the variety and challenges that come with working in equine practice.

We are thrilled to have Dr Tabby with us and are excited to see what the future holds!

Monday the 18th and Tuesday the 19th of May we will be visiting Mildura again to see all your lovely horses! This time around, 2 of our vets will travel up; Dr Emily and Dr Anna. As always, we offer a wide range of services including:

We are beyond excited to have Dr Pip back working with our team here at Bendigo Equine Hospital.
With her extensive history and experience with us, Dr Pip is no stranger. We couldn’t be more thrilled she is back in town.

Dr Pip will split her time between our hospital in Bendigo and our satellite clinic in Lancefield.
If you see Dr Pip around, be sure to give her a warm welcome back! She’s ready to jump right in and continue giving exceptional care to our four legged friends.
