To you it might just seem like a jar of honey, but to us, it's so much more. Here's the story, just a piece of it, because there's still a lot going on behind the scenes. I haven't included the bees' hard work, effort, and sacrifices in this story yet.
Let's start : Friday morning, I was getting everything ready for the market. But for some reason, it was also one of our busiest selling days from home. I'm so grateful to our amazing community for all their support. My kids even helped me pack the car. They made and packed breakfast for two of us (egg and cheese sandwiches). My daughter had braces, so she couldn't eat hard food. Instead, she made herself overnight soaked oats with honey. They woke up with me at 3:30 AM this morning and came along to help set everything up. I'm so lucky to have kids like them. That morning, I quickly made them ginger and lemon tea to enjoy after setting up. My younger son was home. He ran the washing machine and hung everything out in the sun. What a sweet boy!
Everyone knows we do markets every other week, and today wasn't our usual week. Still, we were overwhelmed by everyone's support. We got home around 12:30 PM. Then, I quickly cleaned the kitchen and started making lunch. While I was doing that, my kids were unpacking the car and organizing everything in the honey room because our pop-up was from 2 PM to 4 PM. I was really tired, but I was still smiling and chatting. So, do you really think it's just a jar of honey? Or is it more than that? It's a whole story of effort, thought, sacrifice, passion, early mornings, late nights, and so much more from a hardworking family. And when you support our business, you're also supporting that story.
I might be a stranger to you, but our high-quality products are creating a sweet connection between us. This week, we got so many special compliments because of our infused honey, chai spice honey, and chocolate honey. Holy Basil infused honey and Passionfruit infused honey were huge hits this week. I can't thank everyone enough for all your kind support. In return, I promise you, I'll never give you a reason to complain about our products. We're a small business and we're always ready to listen and provide extra care for our customers.
