When a dog is chronically itchy, food gets blamed a lot online.

Did you know food allergies account for less than 5% of the recurrent cases we see?

The overwhelming majority are caused by environmental allergies (atopy), reacting to things like pollen, dust mites, and grass.

Let’s look past the myths and find a management plan that works for your dog.

‼️ Tick season has started ‼️

We have already seen cases of tick paralysis in clinic.

Paralysis ticks are fatal if not removed quickly and treatment is not given immediately. Paralysis ticks have a distinct appearance.

Ensure your pet is up to date, especially as the weather heats up ☀️ and take advantage of our multiple promotions for flea and tick prevention in September 🐾‼️

If you are concerned your pet may have a paralysis tick, remove it if able and seek veterinary treatment immediately 🚨
