📣 Attention all our Antinol families! 🐾

We've got some exciting news!

We're now stocking Cenmaris GSM – a new generation joint supplement that contains twice the Green-Lipped Mussel strength of Antinol, along with additional joint-supporting ingredients to help keep your dog's joints healthy and mobile.

What makes it different?
✅ Contains twice the Green-Lipped Mussel (GSM) strength of Antinol®
✅ Includes additional ingredients to help support healthy joints, cartilage and mobility
✅ Suitable for dogs of all ages, from active youngsters to seniors with arthritis

Joint supplements work best when started early, but they can also make a real difference for pets already showing signs of stiffness or discomfort.

We’d just like to apologise to everyone for the difficulties getting through to us today. Unfortunately our phones and internet have been affected by a wider Telstra outage, which has caused a lot of disruption throughout the day.

We thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we’ve been trying to manage things the best we can. We know it’s been frustrating and we really appreciate everyone bearing with us 💜

At this stage there is still no ETA from Telstra, however we are hopeful services will be restored by tomorrow morning.

And as a thank you for your patience, please enjoy this photo of a fat cat in a frog hat (we can say that because he's ours 😉)

Update on our tiny little stray girl 💜

Some of you might remember Jess, one of our nurses who used to work here and was our go-to for kitten raising. She’s taken this little one home for some round-the-clock TLC, with help from her two little assistants over the long weekend.

She’s still very fragile, but is starting to regain her appetite and is toileting more regularly, which are both really encouraging signs. When she is awake, she’s surprisingly chatty and far more confident than you’d expect for such a tiny thing, so we are hopeful that she will pull through this!

We have had a very sick little kitten dropped off to us today.

We suspect she isn't owned, however if you recognise this little lady please let us know.

She is only 550g but is likely actually 7-8 weeks old based on how emaciated she is.

In the meantime she is getting lots of love, medical attention and cuddles.

Adoption enquires and name suggestions welcome! 🥰

Meet little Wonky 🐈‍⬛

Wonky is a rescue kitten who came to us with weakness in her back legs, giving her a bit of a wobbly start to life.

It’s always a bit uncertain at this stage what the cause is or what the long-term outlook will be, but what we do know is that she is bright, cheeky, and not letting it hold her back.

Kittens are incredibly resilient, and with the right care and support, many go on to live very happy lives.

If you’d like to help give kittens like Wonky a chance, Chris’s Cat Rescue is always looking for foster carers. It’s such a special way to make a real difference in their little lives 💜

Introducing our new ❤️‍🩹Pet First Aid Kits❤️‍🩹

We’ve put these together using the kinds of items we actually reach for in clinic. They are designed with real-life situations in mind, from small cuts to ticks and minor injuries.

Compact, practical, and easy to keep at home or in the car.

They are available at the clinic for $29.95.

Please let us know if you'd like one kept aside for you 😊

Last week gave us a bit of a scare when our very own Practice Manager Olivia’s puppy, Banjo, decided socks were on the menu!

At just 5 months old, Banjo managed to swallow a very sturdy BONDS sock which subsequently caused a linear foreign body - a particularly serious type of obstruction where the material gets anchored in one place (in Banjo’s case, the stomach) whilst the rest travels through the intestines. This caused the intestines to bunch up around the sock and start to perforate.

Banjo was quickly admitted to surgery to remove the sock, which had split into two pieces and become lodged in both his stomach and small intestine. After a few rough days we are very happy to report he is now recovering well and back to causing his usual puppy mischief 🐶
