Smart Paws Dog behavioural training and assessment in your home or in class. These classes are on Saturday afternoons at 3pm. Dogs must have proof of current vaccination.

Carmel Hodgins and Karen Donnelly have many years of experience in the training and behaviour modification of dogs encountered in Animal Refuge/Rescue organisation, private consultations and classes. Both have completed a Certificate iv in Dog Behavioural Training with the Delta Society Australia and have attended numerous seminars on Dog Behaviour in Brisbane and Sydney over the years. Carmel have also conducted weekly training classes over the years at animal refuge and rescue organisations and also conduct weekly training sessions at 25 Ramsay Court Dundathu. Any changes to the times will be posted on this page. Check chains, prong collars and the like are not allowed. Soft lead, normal collar, martingale collar, harnesses and haltis are preferred.

All good things must come to an end. Smart Paws is one of them. I am retiring from the Dog Training industry after giving it one more try.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all students and their canine mates for trusting us with all your Behaviour and Training needs over so many years. There have been some special memories to cherish and I will look back on them with pride.

A huge thank you to Karen Donnelly who has been an invaluable sidekick during this time.
