Important information

Recently at the clinic we had another patient with a pyometra, where an infection builds in the uterus and is a very serious condition that needs urgent treatment, so we wanted to take the time to highlight the importance of desexing.

Benefits of desexing:

Just a little booking update from Fancy Pawz 🐾🩵

I’m incredibly grateful to have so many wonderful regular clients keeping me busy, but I’ve now reached full capacity and unfortunately I’m unable to take on any new clients at this time.

I’m currently running approximately 11 weeks booked in advance, so for my existing clients, I strongly recommend either:

🐾 Having a recurring appointment in place, or
🐾 Keeping at least 2 appointments booked ahead

This will help make sure your pup has their appointments secured for the remainder of the year.

With my diary this full, it’s becoming very difficult to squeeze in appointments at short notice, so please don’t wait until your pup is due before booking their next groom.

Thank you so much for keeping Fancy Pawz so busy and for your continued support. I really do appreciate every one of you. 🩵🐾

This is little olive, she came in for her first ever groom yesterday. She did so well, but with all puppies first grooms they aren’t always gonna be the best, I won’t stress them out to get a perfect groom I will only do what they are comfortable with to get them used to the grooming process.

We urgently need help.

Animal Welfare League Dubbo is currently running critically low on essential food supplies, and we are struggling to keep up with the needs of the animals in our care.

We are calling on our community for urgent donations of:

Dog food (dry or wet)

Cat food (dry or wet)

Donations can be left at Petstock or Petbarn Dubbo. Please
make sure the donations are clearly labelled for AWL Dubbo.
Or alternatively they can be dropped of at one of our foster carer’s address (contact us for info)

Every donation, big or small, will make a direct difference to the animals who rely on us every day.

Tessa’s first visit with me yesterday. She’d had a vet visit so had to blend the shave mark on her leg that’s growing out. What a lovely girl she is.

I had an idea in 2021 that I could groom from home but where would I do it.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ a renovated caravan in front yard. Got the shell of one and slowly did it up. Eventually moving the business into Dubbo from Wongarbon I got busier and needed a space upgrade, Becky and Jordan from the powder coaters kindly bought me a portable building to rent and use for my business. Forever grateful for them letting me share there space. 5yrs going strong 💪🏼 thanks for all your support 🥰
