Today we’re celebrating all the incredible dads. The dads near and wide, the stepdads, grandads, Pa's, bonus dads, dog dads, and the men who show up with love, patience and kindness every single day and for those whose dads are no longer here, we’re thinking of you too🤍
Father’s Day can bring a lot of different emotions, and we’re sending extra love to anyone missing someone special today.

This beautiful photo of Mia and our new little friend Lottie was something I wanted to share, with two groomers, comfort, altered dryer volumes and grooming approaches Lottie was able to enjoy her first groom with us!

Sometimes a groom or part of the groom looks a little different… and that’s okay🐾

Not every dog walks into the salon ready to jump on the table and enjoy the experience straight away, for some dogs, the dryer, clippers, bath, noises, handling or simply being away from their owner can feel overwhelming or frightening.

That’s where two groomer grooms can make a huge difference!

Sometimes one groomer’s job isn’t actually to groom it’s to help the dog feel safe and supported in a moment that might be overwhelming to all their senses.

One groomer can focus on gentle reassurance, positive reinforcement, body language and helping the dog settle, while the second groomer works through the groom at the dog’s pace.

The goal isn’t to force a dog through something they’re scared of. It’s to gradually help them learn that they are safe in our space and with us for the duration of there grooming experience.

We also offer desensitisation grooms for dogs who need a little more time and support. These sessions are focused on building confidence and creating positive associations with the grooming process, rather than trying to achieve the perfect haircut in one appointment.

Progress for some may look like a full groom, sometimes progress looks like standing calmly near the dryer and sometimes it’s as simple as accepting the space they are in.

Every small win counts because it's progess towards a bigger end goal!

We don't want grooming to just be about how a dog looks when they leave it should also be about how they feel while they’re with us.

Well… 🫢 we did it!

The new salon is SET UP and ready to open at 9am tomorrow! 🎉
There are still a few little homey touches to add, and our brand new bath needs one more day to get organised… but other than that, WE’RE READY!

The last week and a half has been an absolute roller coaster, we moved house, set up a brand new salon and, because apparently we didn’t have enough going on, spent three days in hospital with our little Jax. Thankfully, he’s finally feeling much better!

A massive thank you to our incredible clients for being so patient and flexible with bookings, and for the coffee, messages and well wishes while we were anxiously waiting for Jax’s test results and for him to start feeling better while in hospital. You guys really are the best, and with all of you we never ever feel like we are battling these challenges alone🥹

New home. New salon. Same Pristine Finnish magic!

Here’s to the next chapter and all the exciting things ahead 🥂

What's been happening behind the scenes 🤔

In exciting news WE HAVE A NEW PLACE TO CALL HOME 🏡 🤩🍾
we are now in the process of setting up this space to make it our own and will have some help over the next few days from the plumbers to get our brand new bath installed!

New space, new equipment and absolutely pumped to share this journey with you all!

Over the next few days we are closed getting organised.. as always Mia, Liam and Ethan are holding everything together, Jax and I are having an unexpected little hospital stay and will be back asap to help get the ball rolling.
