Seeking unicorn without the horn….
For amateur junior dressage home with good training and support.
The brief:
Prefer gelding, not bigger than 16h, budget 8k, 3 nice paces (we realise we won’t be buying Totalis for 8k!), under 10yo, been out to a basic comp/ pony club/ training days, green but functional is fine. Pretty enough to do some basic showing, a pony measured for dressage is ok, so is a TB or a WB or a cross breed type.
Must not be horse shy and no dirt (buck, rear, bolt). Good mouth – not strong, no griding or tongue sticking out, if TB then ideally not been tongue tied. Good to shoe, catch, float, tie up at home and competitions, etc…
While this is for a dressage home we would like a horse than can participate in poles or low grade jumping and go trail riding/ hacking.
Within 6h driving of Geelong, not interstate at this stage.
