We honestly still can’t believe it!

A MASSIVE thank you to Jase, Lauren & Clint at NOVA 100 for not only inviting Amelia and Aurora onto the show, but for going above and beyond and creating their very own Scoop Sisters jingle! Hearing it for the first time was something we will NEVER forget. 🥹

And then to surprise the girls with an incredible $1,000 donation towards their Disneyland dream… we were absolutely blown away.

The time, effort and support you have shown our girls means more to our family than we could ever put into words. Thank you for believing in them, encouraging them and giving them an experience they’ll be talking about for years to come.

But The Scoop Sisters has become about so much more than just getting to Disneyland.

It’s about helping people.

Whether it’s someone who physically can’t clean up after their pets, a busy family who needs some time back, someone elderly who needs a helping hand, or simply someone who REALLY doesn’t want to pick up dog poo Amelia and Aurora are happy to help!

It might not make sense to everyone… but it makes sense to her. And it makes sense to us. 💕

At the end of the day, these are just two little girls with a big dream. They’re getting out there, working hard, meeting beautiful people, helping their community and saving their money towards something they’re incredibly excited about their dream trip to Disneyland

THE HARDEST PART OF BEING THE SCOOP SISTERS..

Everyone thinks the hard part is picking up the poop… 💩

WRONG. 😂

The hardest part is turning up to a customer’s house, seeing PUPPIES and somehow being expected to actually WORK?!

Like excuse me… how are Amelia and Aurora supposed to concentrate when there are fluffy little faces asking for cuddles?! 🥹

Some jobs may take a little longer than expected due to very serious workplace hazards such as:
🐾 Puppy cuddles
🐾 Belly rubs
🐾 Getting followed around the yard
🐾 Falling completely in love with our customers pets 😂

And THIS is exactly why the girls love what they do so much.

They might be there to clean up after your pets… but getting to meet, cuddle and become friends with so many beautiful animals along the way is definitely the BEST part of the job.

Being The Scoop Sisters is tough work… someone has to cuddle all these puppies! 😂💩💕

Hi everyone! We’re Amelia (9) and Aurora (7), the faces behind The Scoop Sisters.

We’re a registered local pet waste removal business helping families keep their backyards clean while we work towards our dream of one day taking our family to Disneyland. 🏰✨

💜 Trigger Warning: Pet Waste 💜

Today we welcomed a brand-new customer to The Scoop Sisters. 🐾

This job needed a lot of love and care. Without sharing any personal details, our new customer is an elderly member of our community who simply isn’t physically able to keep up with cleaning their yard anymore. Sometimes something as simple as using a scoop or shovel becomes too difficult.

This is exactly why The Scoop Sisters exists.

Today wasn’t just about picking up pet waste. It was about giving someone back a clean, safe outdoor space and one less thing to worry about. 💕

We’re so excited that we’ve now been trusted to help every week.

If you have an elderly family member, neighbour or friend who could use a helping hand, please don’t hesitate to reach out. No job is too big or too small when it comes to helping our community.

These are the kinds of days that make Amelia and Aurora incredibly proud of what they’re building. They’re learning that hard work isn’t just about saving for Disneyland it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.

More Than Just Picking Up Dog Poo 💜🐾

When people first hear about The Scoop Sisters, they often think it’s simply two young girls picking up dog poo to save for Disneyland.

But over the past few months, it’s become so much more than that.

Sometimes life gets busy.

❤️ You’ve just had surgery and can’t bend down.
👶 You’ve welcomed a newborn and you’re just trying to get through the day.
🐶 You’re an older person who loves having a companion pet but find cleaning up after them difficult.
⏰ You work long hours or shift work and would rather spend your free time with your family.
🌱 Your gardener asks for the yard to be cleaned before they can mow.

That’s where Amelia (9) and Aurora (7) come in.

Whether you need a once-off clean, weekly visits, twice-weekly visits, school holiday bookings, or just a helping hand while you’re recovering, the girls are always happy to help where they can.

And let’s be honest…

Nobody enjoys picking up dog poo!

It’s no different to hiring a gardener, cleaner or window washer. People choose these services because they value their time, need an extra helping hand or simply can’t do the job themselves. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

The Scoop Sisters aren’t about judging anyone they’re about giving people their time back while teaching two young girls the value of hard work, responsibility, customer service and what it takes to run a real business.

Yes, we are a fully registered and insured business, and we’re incredibly proud of what these girls have built.

🐾 But that’s not all they do…

When they’re not scooping pet waste, they’re baking their New York-style cookies and attending markets to continue fundraising towards their Disneyland dream.

Our last market was incredible we sold 225 cookies! So many people walked up to the stall saying,

“Oh my goodness, you’re the girls from Facebook!”

That was such a surreal moment for all of us.

While Amelia and Aurora absolutely love reading your comments and seeing everyone’s support, they do not manage or reply to any of our social media accounts. Every booking, message, email and comment is managed by a parent.

Their online safety will always come first.

I want them to enjoy building a business while still getting to enjoy being kids.

One day, when they’re old enough, this business will be completely theirs. The Scoop Sisters has always belonged to Amelia and Aurora. As a parent, my role is simply to guide them, encourage them, keep them safe and help them build something they can be proud of for years to come.

We have so many exciting ideas for the future.

This really is only the beginning.

Will people laugh? Absolutely. Picking up dog poo isn’t glamorous.

But if two young girls are willing to work hard, help members of their community, earn their own money and chase a dream instead of waiting for it to happen, I’ll proudly stand beside them every single step of the way.

Disneyland may have been the dream that started this journey, but what they’re learning along the way confidence, responsibility, kindness, resilience, communication and the value of hard work is something money simply can’t buy.

📌 A Message About The Scoop Sisters

When The Scoop Sisters first began, it was simply a fun way for Amelia and Aurora to earn a little pocket money, learn responsibility, and work towards their Disneyland dream.

We never imagined it would grow into what it is today.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, The Scoop Sisters has become a fully registered family business. With that growth comes responsibilities, including business administration, customer service, food safety, and ensuring everything is run safely and professionally.

You’ll often see a parent in the background whether that’s helping during pet waste jobs, assisting at markets, managing bookings, replying to messages and emails, updating social media, or handling the day to day administration.

For the safety and privacy of Amelia and Aurora, all Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, emails, our website, Messenger, bookings, enquiries, and all other communication are managed and monitored by a parent. Amelia and Aurora do not have access to any customer messages, emails, bookings, or social media accounts.

Many people ask why a parent is involved.

The answer is simple.

Running a business is about so much more than what people see. Behind every booking is scheduling, customer service, administration, food safety requirements, finances, and legal responsibilities. As parents, our role is to guide, support, and protect the girls while teaching them how to successfully run a business.

The Scoop Sisters now operates two businesses under the one brand.

🐾 The Scoop Sisters Pet Waste Removal where Amelia and Aurora provide pet waste removal and related pet services for their wonderful customers.

🍪 The Scoop Sisters Cookies where the girls hold cookie fundraisers from their registered home kitchen and attend markets throughout the year, bringing their New York style cookies to communities across Melbourne. Keep an eye on our page for upcoming pre-orders, fundraiser days, and market announcements you never know where we’ll be popping up next!

Let’s be honest picking up dog poo isn’t the most glamorous job in the world. Most people would rather avoid it!

But Amelia and Aurora genuinely love what they do.

Yes, they’re working towards a dream, but what they enjoy most is meeting new animals, building friendships with customers, baking delicious cookies, attending markets, and seeing the smiles they bring to people’s faces.

At The Scoop Sisters, we’ve always believed in one simple lesson:

If you work hard, stay kind, and never give up, good things can happen. Dreams really do come true when you’re willing to put in the effort.

We’ll always be in the background to guide, encourage, and help where needed.
