Forbes Street Vets offers a wide range of high quality services including small animal consultations, vaccinations, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, animal chiropractic and acupuncture, behaviour consultations, radiography and ultrasonography. All this is delivered with compassion and a friendly smile. Fees & Payment

We aim to advise you (where possible) of various treatment options and assoc

iated costs before proceeding with any treatment or procedure. Please be aware that we cannot give quotes for treatments but can give you an ESTIMATE before proceeding (however this is difficult in emergency situations). If your pet is in hospital with us we will endeavour to give you regular updates on your current account. Account Payments:

As a small business we cannot offer credit. Our Terms of Trading are full payment at the time of service and for your convenience we accept Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, Cash & Cheque. Veterinarians, however, receive no government subsidy (ie Medicare) and have significantly higher overheads than medical doctors. Veterinary fees are NOT GST exempt as are doctor’s fees.

🎆 CRACKER NIGHT IS THIS SATURDAY 🎆

For some of us, fireworks are exciting. For many others, they’re the loudest, most confusing night of the year 🥺

The good news is that a little preparation can make a big difference!

Before the fireworks begin:

🏠 Keep pets safely indoors or check fences and gates are secure

🪟 Pull the blinds or curtains to reduce flashing lights

🎶 Pop on some background music or the TV to help soften outside noises

🧘‍♀️ Have calming chews, snuffle mats, lickimats or favourite enrichment ready to go

🫶🏼 If possible, spend the evening with them and let them choose where they feel most comfortable

🪪 Make sure your pet’s ID tag is attached and their microchip details are up to date. Every year frightened pets go missing during fireworks, and accurate contact details are often what gets them home again 🥹

Paddington may have come into the clinic for his procedure, but clearly decided Nurse Claire was the perfect spot for a lap cuddle 🤗

Wrapped up in love and taking in all the extra attention, this sweet boy had the team completely smitten from start to finish!

Ps. We’re not sure who enjoyed the cuddle more, Paddington or Claire 🤭

Lucky came into the clinic for his little procedure recently and he totally did it in style 🥹

From the fluffy lavender coat to the tiny hood, he absolutely stole the show and had the whole clinic obsessed the moment he walked through the door 😍

Safe to say Lucky handled his day like an absolute superstar, and won best dressed patient while he was at it 💜 🐾
