🎉 Three Years of My Best Friend’s Farewell Pet Cremations 🎉

Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate a milestone that means so much to us.

Over the past three years, we have had the privilege of caring for more than 2,000 beloved pets and supporting the families who love them. Being trusted during such an important and emotional time is something we never take for granted.

Since opening our doors, we’ve watched our team grow, welcomed new faces into the office, and even outgrown our original space, moving just two doors down to continue expanding our services for the community.

To every family who has entrusted us with their best friend, every veterinary clinic that has partnered with us, and every member of our community who has supported us along the way—thank you. Your trust, kindness, and support have made these three years possible.

We feel incredibly fortunate to do what we do every day, and we are so grateful for the community that continues to stand behind us.

Here’s to three years of honouring cherished companions and many more years to come. ❤️🐾

In Loving Memory of our 2026 Diamond Souls 💎

The diamond is typically known as the birthstone for those born in April, however at My Best Friends Farewell, we use the diamond to remember those we cared for during the month, in the hope their souls have found new life. We envision a place filled with love, happiness, sunshine and rainbows; a serene haven where their precious souls can thrive.

This tribute serves as a reminder of the precious time you shared with your beloved pet family member and the eternal mark they left on your hearts. May their memories be a source of comfort and inspiration, guiding you to live with the same compassion and joy the brought into your lives. In their memory, let us cherish every moment and embrace the beauty of life. May their diamond souls shine brightly forevermore.

☀ STAFF SPOTLIGHT ☀

In this edition of our Staff Spotlight, we celebrate the arrival of another extraordinary team member at My Best Friends Farewell (My BFF Pet Cremations).

At My BFF we believe that family is not just about blood ties, it includes the love and connection that we share with our pet family members too. Our team is testament to this, with each member embracing their pet family members (typically in the shape of a dog, a cat or a bird) as an integral part of their lives. However, when our newest team member started, she reminded us that the heart has no limits when it comes to loving and caring for all furry, feathered, and scaly friends.

Let us introduce you to Kylie and her beautiful family. Firstly standing alongside Kylie in caring for their pet family members, is her partner Carl and their daughter Ivy. Carl and Ivy recently helped Kylie wrangle a few members of the family to bring to our office to meet the team. It was a privilege to meet Kerro the Spoodle, Winston (AKA the Naked Pest) the Sphynx, Pe**er the Buff Orpington Rooster and Crixus the Blue Tongue Lizard. We are still to meet

Somehow, we're not sure that we'll ever get to meet all of the family, but we're thrilled to have Kylie as part of the My BFF Family. Some of you may recognize her from Together Forever Pet Cremations, where she touched the hearts of many families with her compassion and integrity. Her love for all creatures great and small shines brightly every day, and we feel truly blessed to have her as part of our team.

⭐ Staff Spotlight ⭐

In this edition of our Staff Spotlight, we’re thrilled to welcome another family member to the team at My Best Friends Farewell (My BFF Pet Cremations).

Meet Kerrin, Dee’s sister! While she’s new to the pet cremation industry, Kerrin brings valuable experience from her time working at a local human crematorium. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to helping families make her a perfect fit for our team.

Just like everyone at My Best Friends Farewell, Kerrin is deeply passionate about caring for families and their beloved pets. She understands the special bond between humans and their furry companions because it's a bond she shares with her own. Kerrin and her husband Paul adore their little girl Lady B, who is every bit as much a part of their family as their children, Cody, Joel, Demi-Lee and Danielle. (Though if you ask the kids, they might tell you Lady B is the most spoilt of them all!)

When she’s not at work, Kerrin enjoys spending time at home with Paul and Lady B, relaxing with a good movie or cheering on their favourite AFL team during footy season. She also loves afternoons by the pool surrounded by family and friends.

We’re so happy to have Kerrin join the My BFF family, and we’re confident that her warmth, expertise, and genuine care will be a wonderful asset to our team.
