🐕 🌦️ Here it is, Easter and the school break. It’s been a long wet and although our daily rain is still happening, our furry guests and crew are having a great time with each other.

🦮 This is my dog Woody. He is a big 6 yr old Darwin special who prefers slow walks and to sniff everything along the way.
I was suspicious about a bit of a limp he’s had for a while and why he doesn’t like long or quick walks. Exercise should be good, right?
But X-rays show he’s got a sort of bone spur and tendon damage on both front knees and ankles.
Woody is feeling sad. He needs meds, rest and should lose a bit of weight. No walks and small meals. I’m sad too because I will be missing my walks while he rests up. 😢
The thing is, if something doesn’t seem right with your pet, it’s worth getting it checked out, even if you think it’s probably nothing, like I did. I thought he was just lazy, but has probably been in discomfort for quite a long time. He tried to tell me. ‘That’s far enough. Can we go home now?’
