Little Louis came in last week for desexing and nares surgery last week 🥹

While we stole his testicles 🥜 he stole our hearts ♥️

Louis is a Boston Terrier, which is a brachycephalic breed. This means he has a short nose, narrow nostrils & a long soft pallet - which is a recipe for respiratory issues 🫁 The first picture is after surgery, the second and third photos are before - look at the difference! This man is now smelling in 3D 😂😮‍💨😍

🦠🐦 H5 BIRD FLU: PLEASE CALL BEFORE BRINGING IN WILDLIFE

With avian influenza (H5) a concern, we’re asking clients not to bring sick or injured wild birds directly into the clinic without calling us first.

If you find a wild bird that is sick, injured or deceased:

📞 Call us before bringing the bird into the clinic. Our team can advise you on the safest next steps.

🚫 Please do not bring wild birds into the waiting room or reception area without speaking to our team first.

🧤 Avoid unnecessary handling of the bird and keep pets away from it.

🐕 If your pet has been in contact with a wild bird, please let our team know when you call so we can advise you appropriately.

These precautions help protect our patients, clients, staff and other wildlife from the potential spread of infectious diseases.

Benjamin the Golden with our Dr Benjamin 💛 We love to see it 🥰

Poor Benny boy has been dealing with a fracture in his leg which is requiring a lot of vet visits for him! Can’t say he is loving the splint but he does love all the attention he gets when he is here 🫶🏼⭐️

We absolutely love this boy 🥹🩵 Nurse Jas loves her retrievers so had to include the scrubs in some pics! 😍🐾

How cute is Frog who we had in for desexing today with Animal Welfare League NSW - Illawarra Branch 🥹😭🧡

Little man could barely get a moment to himself with all the staff today wanting a snuggle! 🫶🏼🐸
Whoever adopts this Frog is gonna be one lucky family, he was absolutely adorable 🥹
