Cedar Mountain Vet Referral is looking for another surgeon.
We welcome applications from ACVS, ECVS, and ANZCVS small animal surgery specialists, as well as residency‑trained registrars. You must be residency-trained from appropriate college. Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Western Australia is essential. Candidates who requires a sponsorship may be considered. You must be enthusiastic, love what you do, have a great communication skill with staff and clients, and love our patients. You must be passionate about surgery and have a caring nature. Special interest in a particular surgical field is welcome and encouraged. Although we are high paced, you will be well-supported. Discussion, mentorship, and advice can be provided.
Both full‑time (4 days per week) and part‑time (2–3 days per week) positions will be considered. We offer strong support, including technical assistance, ongoing training, and negotiable extended study leave for board‑certification exams if needed.
You will enjoy high‑quality case workups and surgery, supported by patient care veterinarians, skilled nursing staff, and a residency‑trained anaesthetist. As an independent practice, we avoid corporate bureaucracy and maintain a calm, drama‑free working environment.
Our team is relatively small, making us dynamic, flexible, and cohesive. We work with a MERAKI philosophy: doing what you love, putting your soul into your work, and showing true dedication. Your opinions and suggestions genuinely matter here, and decision‑making is fast and collaborative.
