A big day on the road with 10 runners representing the team 🏇💙💚
No winners today, but plenty of competitive runs across the board:
🥈 2 x 2nds
🥉 2 x 3rds
⭐️2 x 4ths
The highlight of the day was Al Ash Lad, who ran an absolute cracker to finish 2nd in the Morven Cup, only just beaten against some very handy horses. So proud of the old boy! 💙
Ch*****ne Queen stepped up as a maiden to take on a Class 1 over 1400m and was only just beaten on the line — another cracking run from the little horse with a big heart.
And Zouchase continues to prove how tough and honest he is, taking on Open company as a Class 4 horse and running a fantastic 3rd. 💪
We might not have brought home a winner today, but with 6 of our 10 runners finishing in the top four, there was plenty to be happy about.

🌸 Spring is here, and what better way to spend a beautiful day than at the races! 🏇☀️
5 horses representing the team today. No placings, but some nice runs from a few who are just returning from a spell.
Spanish Rage looked an absolute treat first-up and ran a lovely race. He will take plenty of improvement from the run. ✅️
Plenty to look forward to this spring! 🌸

Don't let his age fool you—this bloke still has plenty to offer. With his experience, toughness and versatility, we think he's going to make a fantastic bush campaigner.

🏆 ZOUCHASE BREAKS THE DROUGHT! 🏆
It’s been a fair few weeks between drinks for the team, but Zouchase got us back in the winner’s circle today! 💙💚
Even better to have his owner Rob Luck there calling him home — a great result and a special win to share. 🥇
Al Ash Lad showed us he’s certainly not ready for retirement just yet, going down by the narrowest of margins for a very close 2nd. 👏🥈
Malarina also put in a solid effort, finishing 4th in a handy Open, rounding out a great day for the team.
Nothing better than racing at our home track and coming away with a winner! 🐎🏆💙💚

Winter mornings look a little different around here. ❄️🐴
As the colder weather sets in, the team are making the most of a well-earned sleep-in. Since we do all our work in the afternoons, there's not much movement around the stables until the sun is well and truly up and has taken the chill off.
You won't find too many early risers here at this time of year—just plenty of horses enjoying a cosy snooze before it's time to get to work. 😴
After all... nap time is the best time of the day, and judging by this lot, they couldn't agree more! ❤️

We've been a little quiet on our page lately, but don't let that fool you – there's still plenty happening behind the scenes at MG Racing! 🐎
This time we've got something a little different, and we're excited to introduce the newest member of our team.
This beautiful unnamed 2-year-old gelding.

He enjoyed a well-earned spell before returning to work a few weeks ago. Since then, he has settled back into stable life beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the progress he's made.
He's proving to be a lovely young horse with a bright future ahead, and we can't wait to share more of his journey with you all as his education continues.
Stay tuned – there's plenty more to come! ✨

Welcome to the team, Titahi Bay!

After winning over 1400m at Latrobe Valley against handy Victorian opposition, we believe she'll be a fantastic addition to our country circuit team.
We're looking forward to getting her settled in and can't wait to see what the future holds. Welcome aboard, Titahi Bay! 🐎✨

🏇 Double Header Complete! 🏇
After racing at Injune yesterday- we headed to Warren today Sunday 14th June to see Ch*****ne Queen step out in the $50,000 Super Maiden over 1600m.
While we didn't get the win, we're incredibly proud of her effort. Up against some handy horses,
Ch*****ne Queen finished 6th, beaten just 1.3 lengths after some interference in the home straight and taking a knock, she never gave up and kept fighting to the line.
Don't let her size fool you — she is flat out being 15hh, but she has a huge heart and showed plenty of grit when it counted. 🙏
Stablemates Za Hidden Dragon and Al Ash Lad also made the trip. While they finished unplaced, both benefited from the run against strong opposition.
What a huge weekend on the road — 2,400km in 48 hours!
A big thank you to all our owners and supporters for your continued support.
