***SOLD****
Pepsi has been sold! We wish his new owner all the best with this handsome boy!
We’ve made a difficult decision to find Pepsi a new home.
Pepsi has been a part of Cowboy Up for over 4 years and has been a delight to have in our herd.
He’s a responsive horse to ride and would suit a confident rider with a calm energy. He’s a cuddly horse and loves a treat.
Pepsi is easy to catch, handle, barefoot trim and float.

Well Cowboy Up Trail Riding is officially closed.

What a great day we had on Sunday 30th to finish off the incredible journey that was Cowboy Up! We had a lovely ride then we were able to celebrate with some of regular riders and their long suffering partners lol. Over snacks and sparkling wine we reminisced about the wonder times we shared, whether over 14 years or 4 years - all are friends now. A lot of our previous regular riders couldn't be with us on Sunday but we absolutely appreciate the time you spent riding with us.
We, Peter & Gill, are sad to see the end of our amazing business but we are ready for the next chapter in our lives. Some of our horses have certainly earned their retirement and some will continue to be ridden with us. They will live happily with their herd family and us.

Thank you to everyone who rode with us, gave us amazing 5 Star reviews, recommended us to family and friends, and came back time and time again. Thank you also to those who helped guide our rides on days one of us couldn't be there.
We appreciate each and every one of you!!

HAPPY TRAILS TO EVERYONE

We thought we'd look back at the past 16 years by posting photos from each year.
Some of our beautiful horses have either passed on or are in their new forever homes. We have loved and appreciated every horse that has been a part of Cowboy Up.
We'd love for you to post any pics you have from each year as we go through our memories!

What another incredible year! We had lots of riders spending time in the saddle with us. Including visiting family, we always love to show off the property on horseback.
Had a funny 'hands free' mounting challenge that may or may not have gone to plan.
We also got to tick another bucket list travel item off - visiting Iceland to ride the amazing Icelandic horses! We even got to put the horses into the unique gait of Icelandic horses called the Tolt. We also added Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway to our Nordic trip, riding in Finland and Denmark through the forests.

What an incredible year! We had lots of riders spending time in the saddle with us. I can't believe how many birthdays we helped celebrate with our riders over the years, we're so blessed that people thought of us for the gift for their loved ones.

We also got to tick a bucket list travel item off - we visiting Mongolia to ride the amazing Mongolian horses! It was an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity and we're so glad we went. We also added our version of the Silk Road travelling through Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China.

Below are photos from 2022.

It was another great year, with plenty of riding both on the farm and competing for Peter & Gill. We went from drought to flood.

It's only 4 days until Cowboy Up Trail Riding closes.
Sorry I missed the 5 day post yesterday we are busy getting the place ready to list for sale!

Below are photos from 2020 and 2021

Early 2020 was still drought stricken, however once some welcome rain fell the place recovered well. We had to close the business for 3 months due to Covid, but once we re-opened you guys were here with bells on! We had the busiest school holidays that we've ever had with 3 rides per day for 16 days straight.

2021 was a great year with people travelling within their own state to explore areas that they hadn't previously. Our region was particularly well visited and we met lots of lovely people that were doing their 'Aussie Outback Tour', heading out west after riding with us.

The end of 2019 was the worse year for the 8 year long drought that affected our area, and with crazy bushfires in the region it was a tough year. It was hard to see the change in the landscape over the months but we are super grateful for all the riders that still came out here to support us, we are also grateful to Rural Aid and Drought Angels (now Farm Angels) for their help during this tough time on the land.

It's only 7 days until Cowboy Up Trail Riding closes.
These photos are from 2018.
This was another action packed year with more full day rides, visits to aged care facilities, lots of group rides and a visit to our grandson's kindy (we set the bar high for grandparents visits!)
