💔 A Heartbreaking Update from BellaPeach Poodles - Lucy & Leo Litter💔
It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we share some very sad news. Our sweet apricot toy poodle girl, Lucy, went into labour far too early on day 53. She delivered five precious puppies - one born sleeping, and four little fighters (2 boys and 2 girls) — but despite every effort, they were simply too premature to survive.
We did absolutely everything we could: incubator care, tube feeding, round-the-clock monitoring, and all the love in the world. Sadly, sometimes, no matter how hard we try, the outcome is out of our hands.
This is the side of breeding that is rarely seen and incredibly painful. We are devastated, and our focus now is on supporting beautiful Lucy as she heals both physically and emotionally from the loss of her puppies. We’re holding her wonderful guardian family close in our hearts as they move through this heartbreaking time alongside her.
Thank you to everyone who has wrapped our little Bellapeach family in love and support — we are truly blessed to be part of such a caring breeder community. A heartfelt thank you to Dad Leo’s mum, Kelly, who spent hours with us and so generously shared her knowledge and hands-on help in caring for the puppies. And a big thank you to Kymberley from Bespoke Spoodles Brisbane for her thoughtful advice and guidance. Your kindness, messages, and understanding during such a difficult time mean more than we can ever express. 💗🐾
