When your groomer misbehaves, they get banished to the storage room! 🤣
Jokes aside, lately we’ve had a few comments along the lines of:
“Oh, there are other dogs here? My dog isn’t good with other dogs.”
“It’s quite noisy in here — my dog is sensitive to loud noises.”
We completely understand that every dog is different, and we do our very best to accommodate each individual dog’s needs.
However, unless you’re willing to book out an entire morning or afternoon exclusively for your dog, there will always be other dogs in the salon, along with the sounds of dryers, clippers and general grooming activity.
We work by appointment, with one dog in and one dog out, which allows us to keep the salon as calm and controlled as possible and minimise waiting times and unnecessary stress for your fur babies.
As dogs get older, it’s also quite common for them to become more sensitive to things they previously had no problem with.
Little Ernie in our photo recently found the noise of the dryer a little too much.
Thankfully, we’re lucky enough to have a separate back room where, when needed, we can groom our older, nervous or noise-sensitive dogs away from the hustle and bustle of the main salon. This gives them a quieter, more comfortable environment while still allowing us to provide the care they need.
Please be assured that your dog’s comfort and safety are always our priority. We take into consideration their age, temperament, behaviour and individual needs, and we will always make adjustments where we can.
And if at any point we feel your dog would be better suited to a quieter environment, a different approach, or a little extra time and care, we will always contact you straight away.
Thank you for trusting us with your fur babies — we really do care about making their grooming experience as safe, comfortable and stress-free as possible. 🐾✂️🩵
