🌟Congratulations Alex!🌟

A huge congratulations to our amazing Vet Nurse Alex on successfully completing the Hill's Pet Nutrition Australia Nurse Consultation Course!

Alex has studied over the past year to advance her knowledge in animal nutrition. She is now able to provide nutrition nurse consultations which can help our patients live healthier lives through tailored feeding plans, feeding recommendations, and ongoing support. She has been steadily building up weight management consultations to help pets that are struggling with obesity. She can also provide nutritional guidance under our vets' recommendations for pets with specific health conditions that may require nutritional therapy, such as dental disease or food sensitivities.

Well done Alex for investing in your knowledge and skills and continuing to provide such wonderful care for our patients & their families! 👏

You may have noticed our recently partitioned cat waiting area space, including Felway carrier covers to help you cat feel safe whilst waiting for their appointment. There is also a designated cat carrier parking spot - our nurse Cat gives their ✔️ of approval! 😆

The alarm may startle or stress pets. You can help keep them calm by:
🔸Moving them away from devices receiving the alert.
🔸Staying with them if they are anxious and offering treats or toys as a positive distraction.
🔸Playing calming music or the TV to mask the noise.

A little preparation can go a long way in helping reduce the stress for your pet 🫶🏼
