I’m so excited to finally introduce you to Nora, who has been joining some of our walks lately 🐾
Nora is from Spain, like me, and has spent over 10 years working with animals, especially horses and farm dogs. She has worked with animals in Spain, America and now Australia, and you can tell straight away that animals feel comfortable around her.
One of the things I really love about Nora is the way she gives animals time. She doesn’t rush them. She watches, listens and understands that trust is something you build slowly. I think working with horses for so many years teaches you that beautifully. You learn to read body language, stay calm and move with patience, and that translates so well to dogs too.
She’s also currently studying psychology, which makes a lot of sense when you meet her, because she’s genuinely interested in behaviour, connection and understanding others, both humans and animals.
Nora has been learning our routines, our safety rules and all the little personalities in the group. She’ll be helping me on some of the busier walking days, so the dogs can keep enjoying walks that feel safe, structured, fun and full of attention.
I feel very lucky to have her around, and I think the dogs are already pretty happy about it too 🐶🤎
