Well, I've been reminded by FB that I haven't added a post for a while! Bottom line: I've been busy doing what I do best...looking after clients dogs, horses, chooks, peacocks, training young dogs, training my 2 horses ( ridden & harness driving ) - not to mention myself!! It's been awesome to have dogs come to my property here in The Hunter Valley & see them start to settle into a safe, respectful pack. It does take time, consistency & a little lateral thinking on my part to encourage dogs to be respectful & take on healthy boundaries to have a more fulfilling life - not to mention peace of mind for their owners at times too!! With Winter now truely throwing in a few frosts & foggy mornings dog coats & horse rugs have become the norm. Cosy nights with the fire going 24/7 makes the "family" scene complete at the end of the day after dinner. Thank you lovely people & friends for your valued & ongoing support & inspiration in embracing what I'm passionate about here in this wee piece of paradise. I am truly blessed! Humans, canines, equines & everything in between... just keeping it simple in an extraordinary way. Bark & neigh, Jayne 🐶🐴

Neigh everyone, I'm excited to announce that Tui is now available as a lead party pony for small children. He's a delightful 4 year old gelding who has undergone extensive training with me since a 5 month old weanling and I must say he has ticked all my boxes!! Currently, he is now also involved in harness training where in the near future he would be ready for me to drive him. So his future is looking bright & fun filled. Watch this space. I'll update his progress. Any enquiries just contact me and I'll keep Tui posted! Keeping it unique at Unique Creature Comforts.

Woof dog lovers, here's some recent dog pics of some guest dogs inside my home. Dogs come inside at night and if the weather is too cold ( wood fire ) or hot (air con during the day ). Also pic of two dogs getting some basic training. I use dog halti (S) with great results. I find leading by the nose is a lot more effective yet still allows your pooch to pant and lap water!

hello there fellow animal owners and lovers - i apologise for not being in touch for a while. im still learning to navigate through this technology - so i'm sure the glitch is me! all good here at U.C.C. and out and about on my rounds! i've meet some wonderful, committed and caring horse and dog owners and between us all we will continue to make a difference in the quality of the lives of all Creatures small and large.
